The Japanese version is out of production and sold out (which still will not prevent me from scouring Akihabara electronics stores for one next month). Fortunately, the Blackfin DSP itself is available on several other development boards outside Japan.

The ADZS-BF592-EZLITE from Analogue Devices is based on the same chip, would that work too? Interestingly it's $28 direct from them, but the online electronics distributors in the UK are charging ten times that price!

It would be difficult to use ADZS instead because the electronic circuits are different.

hi, in your projects which potentiometers do you use? linear or logarithmic? I would like to create your generative sequencer but it is not specified which type of 100k potentiometer it is. Thanks

Linear curve variable resistors are used to reduce cost. It is also a good idea to use exp-curve variable resistors for audio output. It is a little expensive.

Amazing as always. Did you ever make a USB midi to CV out device?

Thank you!I have never made a module using USB. This is due to concerns about breaking the connected devices.

@@HAGIWO Would it not just be the same as you are using the micro contrller but it also appears as a midi device? Obviously I've missed something!
