Pablo González Sarre (bass player in the band Los Claxons) was not only Alejandra's bass teacher, but mentor of the whole band in its beginnings. He showed them how to write and compose songs and encouraged them to write their own songs. The result was their first EP. "EPESCAPE THE MIND" The rest is history - rock history of an incredible band. Here are two very rare videos. Pablo and Alejandra in bass lessons. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5qXoHmsi7p9h7c And The Warning covers a song by Pablo's band Los Claxons "Me Voy A Tomar La Noche" ( May 2014 ) kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKmXgK2Bodtgoqc

Pablo was not only Ale's bass teacher, but also played a huge role in TW's early development, teaching them music theory and getting them started writing their own music. Also helped them with their arrangement of Enter Sandman w/Allesia Cara.

Pablo looked impressed when Ale snatched a pic from the mic stand in the middle of the song and finished with it. Ale seemed proud to have her old teacher out there with her.

That guy taught Ale? So he was her Obi-Wan, and he’s performing along side his Padawan, and seeing her succeed? In the beginning she was but a learner, now she is a master. And yes, I did just go Star Wars with that, I regret nothing. 😀 I love how he seemed to be watching her more than looking at his bass, you can see the pride. 🙂

Pablo was also the girls original mentor. Here's an old 2015 interview recovered from the Wayback Machine. Can't leave the link or my post will be deleted: Learn a little more about The Warning and the person behind their musical training. The Warning has gained a lot of attention in recent days, not only because of the recent viralization of their cover of "Enter Sandman", which was shared by Coldplay and Kirk Hammett on their social networks, in addition to being invited to The Ellen Show. The band made up of sisters Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra Villarreal has just released an EP with original songs, in addition to having performed at the Pa'l Norte festival last weekend and that's just the beginning of the story. This group of sisters exudes talent and charm, but behind that musical prowess is the training and talent of Pablo González S., who is one of the most respected musicians in the country and has a great musical career (among other things, he is part of de Los Claxons) and we talked with him about how his work has been as the trainer of this young and talented band on the rise. How did your approach to The Warning begin? (or vice versa) Pablo González: His father, Luis, whom I had known for a long time, asked me if he could teach Ale bass, so I started just as a bass teacher. Later I proposed that they had to start working on original music, so I started working with the three of them to compose and edit their own songs and from there to produce them. What do you think are the pros and cons of The Warning starting at such a young age? PG: In the musical aspect, the smaller you start is always better, and more with the dedication they have. The cons that I see are that as a musician you miss out on many personal commitments, like going to a concert or that kind of thing, or birthdays of friends or family. Here the biggest advantage is that they are sisters and they get along very well, they love each other and take care of each other. Their parents are always there too, in and out of music. I think that the more they discover about this profession, the more they fall in love. As your teacher, how do you do or how do you seek to foster creative personality? PG: I never impose anything on them. Part of my job is, as you say, to encourage their creative personality, so when it comes to composing or arranging I always ask for their opinion first, where they want the song to go, what they imagine, what instruments there will be, what each one would be doing, etc. When changes have to be made, I explain why and why it is better to do it in a certain way. Now I am producing them myself, but I want one day they can do it and they can even produce someone else. What do you see in this new (and young generation) that did not exist before? PG: It's very different starting because social networks, youtube and others came to change everything, from the way you promote yourself and connect with people around the world to learning to play an instrument. I don't think it's better or worse, just different. Each generation comes loaded with different things. Now they have more access to information. I also think that genres are beginning to expand. It is more and more normal to hear influences from different types of music in a band. There is also less fear of taking "risks" and stepping outside the boundaries of a certain genre. How do you think these differences will impact the music industry? PG: Well the first thing is that it is no longer necessary to have a label to be active and for people to know you, but for that reason there is more work to do. It's not just about playing, but moving to find a place to play, how to record, how to promote yourself, etc. The bands now have to do all the work. What would you like to see in the music scene in Mexico now with the new generations? PG: I would like to see bands with soul, I think that sometimes so much information can be bad because before they can understand and digest something, they already have a thousand other things and it can end up sounding like something without head or tail. I would like to see interesting proposals, without fear of trying things and not just things that go with a trend. In Mexico there is a lot of talent. In every city that I have to go I always see very good bands and artists in general We see that Paulina, Daniela and Alejandra are really good at their respective instruments. Is it a natural talent or is it the product of study and a lot of practice? PG: Both. All three were born with talent (Ale has perfect hearing) but having a great talent like them, you have the responsibility to work on it and develop it, which is not a problem for them because they are very dedicated not only to their instrument but to music in general. They have worked very hard and they continue to work because they know that in music you never finish learning. We also chatted with Pablo a bit about the new Escape the Mind album, which includes original songs from The Warning. This started as a songwriting workshop and the intention was for them to have their first studio experience and have their songs recorded for them. Because of this, we recorded in a home studio, but people began to ask about the recording and we really liked the songs, so the decision was to make it known. Now we will start working on your first full album. Undoubtedly, The Warning is carving out a path that is just beginning to bear fruit and it has. With all the talent that these 3 sisters have at such a young age, we can only wait for this band and see how their musical growth continues. We leave you his presentation on The Ellen Show - kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKmWc3aPf6pobsU

This was at the Metropolitan show? Anyone know why it didn’t make the final cut that they posted on their channel?
@robsorenson6811 ай бұрын
Pablo didn’t appear for both shows. I think they simply chose to use the night where he didn’t play to highlight the song as it was originally recorded. Also, they had a technical issue at the start, which isn’t something they would want to include in an official release.
@dherna1211 ай бұрын
@@robsorenson68 Makes sense. In most of their other songs from this show, it's almost impossible to tell that they spliced in footage from both nights. The only tells I could find are the number of picks on the mic stands, and the Dr. Simi doll on Dany's lap during Revenant.

@gonzalomartinez48742 жыл бұрын
No sé si en esa canción aportaría algo pero comentarios más arriba en inglés dicen que si ayudo en los arreglos para el cover de metálica.
