I really feel bad for Noah. There are Noahs everywhere! We need to listen and watch more carefully to our children/grandchildren and their friends! I'm happy Noah never got caught. I hope he made something out of himself and moved past the agony of his grandmother allowing these things to happen to him and at such a young age 😢 this world has becoming a very scary place. Thank you once again Joel. I love listening to you and your soothing voice. Great work once again! Thank you!

I just got a bad feeling that Noah was going to end himself as he said he didn't need the cigarettes anymore. He had the gun and possibly ammo available. Lots of scenarios with an adolescent with trauma and mental health issues. I sure hope you're right and he went on to have a good life. Just doesn't seem logical that he was never seen again. But anything is possible.

It's B.S. An experienced hunter wouldn't leave his rifle/shotgun out of reach while actively hunting bears and having already found bear tracks/ droppings. At the very least, an experienced hunter would have a high caliber pistol as a backup (10mm at the minimum). His 15 and 17 year old kids would also very likely be armed and trained to shoot.

@@DeathMetalTomnah, I don't put it past anyone to do something stoopid like that. Especially if it was a rifle, I doubt he wanted to cuddle it in the hammock. I mean, dude had his kids sleeping in hammocks like that would stop a bear 😂 his dad didn't seem like too good of a guy to force his kid into going when he didn't want to and treats one kid better than the other so I have to think he's a few fries short of a happy meal

I met a lady years ago while traveling to SC on Amtrak. She started telling me about her late husband. The most beautiful and sad part was when she was telling me about missing seeing his boots dirty in the hallway. Her face wasn't sad, but it wasn't happy. She was in the past and I said right then that when I get married that thats it. My parents were the same way. Separated after 16 yrs but never filed papers so when my dad died they had been legally married for 51 years. Never remarried. I had never thought with the history between the two how hard my mom mourned his passing until I called her a week after his funeral and she could barely talk because she had been crying for a week.

Joel, you’re one of the few narrators who can make a story told by either a man or woman sound perfectly convincing. You’re voice is incredibly soothing and it’s like velvet covered steel. Both soft and strong, with just enough emotion to make the stories come to life, but not enough to feel melodramatic and contrived.

The tree falling on man story, was the most real & heart breaking story, I've ever heard on any platform. Growing up & then living in the middle of nowhere types of places , on farms & ranches, I related. I have had to administer stitches to my own self at times. Roads became impassable during winter storms, in the place of my childhood. So that story really hit home in it's degree of helplessness, despair & the potential of nature's fury.

I work as a home remodeler a 2 minute walk from cementland, it's absolute trash ghetto area, I check to make sure my car hasn't been stolen again every 15 minutes. It's at the intersection of Riverview drive and Scranton drive in Riverview north county St Louis its very cool looking from the outside but sadly it's all overgrown and been mostly reclaimed my nature. I'll try to get some pics and put them in a live sometime soon. The side that borders Scranton people come dump trash like sofas and couches. I listen to let's read every single day, so I find it super cool when the stories are so local.

I'm not sure about going to get pictures though. Got stuck waiting for semis before i could turn onto the highway the other day and someone knocked on my window. Scared me so bad i floored it instead of finding out what they were asking for. 😅 I have just enough sense to know I shouldn't linger in this area.

Gotta skip the first story. In the past 2 weeks, both my dogs passed away. They were both 16 years old and came into this world together and it seems like they wanted to leave together. It's difficult to hear about dogs without crying, it's too fresh. My heartis crushed.😢

Not cynical at all. It's the truth. Plus, tho this channel rarely uploads compilations I feel like we've heard the first few several, several times. I don't really listen to other channels like this one. Maybe one, two at most. I don't mind listening to the same story twice but it does come to a point where it's a waste of time.

Crazy they put that story right after cementland. Just need the story where the lady in Collinsville killed her husband and cut off his dingo, and got off on a technicality 😂 would Love see someone post about the seven gates of hell or i should. “Our air bnb host keeps texting us immediately after doing things, and it seems like they are watching us…..so let’s just stay and start fucking” like, really? Also in the first story, the guy started by saying he was older than his brother and graduated, moved out, and had a kid already by the time his brother graduated, but by the end of the story the narrator was like 7 years old when the story happened. Did the person even try l when they wrote that story?

The amusement park story hit me hard. I was thinking about it from the perspective of the person who strapped the ɓoy into the ride having to live with the kid's death for the rest of their life. The employees of these rides have so much pressure on them to get people buckled in fast and keep the ride moving, pressure from the riders to hurry up and let them ride and very little pay for the responsibility to ensure everyone is safe.

I've had many dogs in my life, all very different breeds. I have 3 now. Every one of them would detect a quiet small animal at 200 feet, and a stranger much further away. It would take a ninja with supernatural abilities to avoid detection, or to not get shredded by my american bulldog. They can smell a person outdoors 50 yards down the street while in the house. It's annoying most of the time but could save us one day.

Jesus Christ people can be crazy… I believe it though, there’s some real weirdos out here and the surrounding areas.. how the cops treated them is terrible… though they should have told their full story, they shouldn’t have been afraid of admitting having some pot on them, this is a legal state and the county is so weed-friendly. I feel so bad for them.

I believe Chris is guilty..I’m not sure if his wife’s medication could be acquired easily, if so, he could have been lacing her food and drink , topping it up to dangerous levels..Also, drawing out 5 thousand dollars and visiting strip clubs , throwing money around is not the actions of a good husband and family man ..it’s the sign of a man who wants out of his responsibilities.imho..
