Do you want to know what I found in the water heater closet on top of the water heater? A brown paper bag of condoms! This is something that my now ex-husband and I did not use because I was on the pill. He tried to claim that it was left there by the previous apartment tenant, but I knew better because the expiration date on the condoms were a LONG way off & he had been going out to bars straight from work and not even telling me where he was going or that he was going, nor was I invited. You should’ve seen the look on his face when he came home and saw that I’d found & placed his brown paper bag of condoms on the coffee table so that it would be the first thing he saw when he came in the front door! It was a priceless moment! 😂

@@pinkyandthebrain9384 here is the rest of the story that you requested... well a new bar opened up and the place was absolutely huge! I had just turned 21 and my coworkers invited me to go with them to this new bar that was packed every night. On Tuesday nights the local news station would film people dancing & put it on TV. One night, this gorgeous Latino man came up and began flirting with me while his male friend stood nearby observing. This did not sit well with me, because I sensed that he had probably told his buddy something like, “Watch this. I’m going to get her to dance with me & go home with me.“ So I decided to make a fool of him in front of his buddy. He was 32 years old, so I told him that he was probably married and that I was not about to be seen on TV dancing with a married man. He quickly showed me his naked ring finger insisting that he was not married. So to give him a hard time even further, I held out my hand and said to him sarcastically, “Watch this,“ then I proceeded to slide a ring off one of my fingers and put it in my pocket. (I was not married and this was not a wedding ring that I slipped off.) And then I proceeded to decline his offer to dance with him saying that he probably hid his wedding band in his car. My first impression of him was that he was a womanizer because I had seen him on the dance floor with different women that night. A couple of weeks later, I was out at the bar and when he saw me his face lit up, flashing his gorgeous smile, and told me it was great to see me again. I was dumbfounded that he would approach me again and actually be nice to me after I gave him such a hard time previously, shooting him down in front of his friend. I kind of felt bad. He again insisted he was not married and said that he was recently divorced and again asked me to dance with him. I agreed and we hit the dance floor. I had observed him dancing with other ladies, so I assumed that after I danced that song with him, that he would continue dancing with other women, but to my surprise, he didn’t. He continued to dance only with me. That further took my guard down. During the slow songs, we began talking and getting to know one another. Ever since I was a young teenager, I always had an attraction to guys that were much older than me. We literally danced the night away, only coming off the dance floor for more drinks and bathroom breaks. After that place closed for the night, we sat in his car talking for several hours. Long story short, we began talking on the phone frequently and seeing each other several times during the week. Eventually I invited him to move in with me. Before meeting the Hispanic man, at age 19 I had gotten married to a man that was 28 that I had met in church (he was the youth leader, so I thought I had chosen well), but he turned out to be both physically and verbally abusive to me & my pets, unfaithful, very unhygienic, terrible with handling money, and obsessed with every kind of sport to where we could never have a conversation nor intimacy without sports being on in the background. He was constantly trying to pressure me to finance very expensive things for him such as a drum set, a weight lifting set, a computer, etc. Then when I refused, he would stop speaking to me and go around throwing a temper tantrum slamming drawers and cabinets like a spoiled child! He was over a foot taller than me and outweighed me by 100 pounds because he was 6’5”and about 240 pounds. I despise sports to this day because of my first husband. I divorced him not long after I turned 20, because he refused to go to counseling, and I refused to endure another 50 years of that! So after that nightmare, I had a really bad taste in my mouth for marriage. My first husband was a Dr. Jekyll-Mr. Hyde type of man, basically bait and switch, meaning that he presented himself to be completely different before marriage then he was after marriage. I saw the switch as early as the honeymoon which I had to pay for in full by myself & he chose the destination. After I divorced him, I met the Hispanic man at the bar, & I learned that he was responsible with money, very well groomed and hygienic, and had no interest in sports. After what I had been through previously, I was thrilled with these differences between the two men. Honestly I did not want to get married again, and l verbalized that fact on a regular basis when the subject would come up. To my utter surprise and dismay, he remembered the date that we first danced the night away and told me that he was going to take me out for our one year anniversary of dating. At the restaurant, he pulls out a ring to propose to me. Everything in me wanted to say no, but I loved him enough that I did not want to hurt nor humiliate him by turning down his proposal in a public place, and I did not want to lose him. So with great reluctance (which I hid), I accepted his proposal and took the ring. The other reasons that I was reluctant to accept his proposal was because we had been having some serious problems in our relationship regarding his lack of boundaries with his ex-wife & the tumultuous visitations with his children, and he had begun going out to the bar where we met while I was at work because I worked 12 hour night shifts & he worked an 8 hour day shift . He was always good about calling me when he got home from the bar, but he was usually so drunk that he was often times slurring his speech and not making much sense. When I would ask him the next day about some of the weird things he had said to me on the phone, he had no recollection of it. On my off nights we would go out to the bar together to dance and drink, but he became increasingly insecure and paranoid when other guys would look at me. Instead of taking it as a compliment that I chose to be with him instead of them, he took it as a threat of losing me and would get angry at me and begin accusing me of flirting with other guys which I know I was not doing because I made a point one night when we were at the bar, to only look either at his eyes, the table top, or my shoe ,and I made sure that I made no eye contact with anyone else but him the whole night, but I still got accused, so I knew it wasn’t me. (A few years after we were divorced, I dated a guy that confirmed this fact for me when he said, “You are the first woman that I have been out with that does not look at other men.” I thanked him for noticing & acknowledging this about me, and told him that I always found it disrespectful when someone I was dating would begin staring at another woman while out on a date with me, so I wasn’t going to do that to the man in my life.) Anyway the Hispanic man told me that they were shutting down the plant where he was a supervisor and that he was going to have to look out of state for a job that would pay him a comparable salary. Because I had bought a house a couple of years before meeting him, and all of my family was local to me, and I had a good job, I begged him to look for a job locally and let him know that I did not want to move out of state. He refused and kept going for out-of-state interviews. This added to the tension in our relationship to where we broke off the engagement, he moved out & back in with his old roommate and was going to be taking the job out of state within a couple of months. (I’ve got to get some sleep for now, but after you reply to this comment, I will try to make a point to finish telling you the rest of the story if you are interested?)😊

@@redwoodrebelgirl3010 actually I think we were already in the process of divorce at the time, and I was packing up my things to leave the apartment and checking every cabinet, closet, and drawer thoroughly to make sure I did not leave any of my belongings behind because I was going to be moving three hours away, and that’s what prompted me to check the water heater closet for anything I might have stored in there and forgotten about. Finding his condoms was definitely confirmation that divorce needed to happen.

i will never understand parents who dismiss their child/children who tell them they were nearly kidnapped! like what in the hell, children do not go around making that situation up! infuriating. im damn sure if it did happen all the parents who act that way would be losing their minds!
@skyegroome223
@skyegroome223 8 ай бұрын
Some children do make that stuff up. Kids can lie too, they're not perfect. A little girl in (I believe it was Michigan) lied about her teacher being inappropriate with her because she didn't want to get in trouble for skipping class and her crazy brother beheaded the teacher, only for it to turn out that she had lied to avoid getting in trouble for playing hookie. Not all kids lie though, just like not all parents don't believe their kids when they're told they were almost abducted. You're just hearing about a small portion that do.
@SmashynHogg
@SmashynHogg 8 ай бұрын
No most children don't,there's sadly a small persentage that have been conditioned to behave in that sickening manner.
@felicityjohnston9276
@felicityjohnston9276 8 ай бұрын
@SmashynHogg a few here and there but most children are confessing to their parents they were nearly kidnapped because they're scared only for said parents to act like nothing actually happened! I've heard TOO MANY stories of various families all over this damn planet who immediately tell the child they are wrong. yet we know damn well if that kid didn't make it home they'd be gutted! but they can't care enough in advance to look out for them?!
@felicityjohnston9276
@felicityjohnston9276 8 ай бұрын
@skyegroome223 small portion,my ass. I hear about it so often my entire life into adulthood how parents refuse to take their kid seriously about being nearly snatched off the street while walking home from wherever only to be called a liar as if that didn't actually happen! it's ridiculous and I'd feel sympathy for that kid who got taken than their parents because they know better than to ignore it yet they do so without a second thought. that's beyond horrible about the poor teacher but that's not even in the same realm of lies. a kid innocently minding their own business walking home from school or from a friends house isn't gonna uproot their own life by lying about something that didn't happen. most don't even THINKA ABOUT such things in the world until it happens to them and they are scared. yet they get immediately dismissed.
@SmashynHogg
@SmashynHogg 8 ай бұрын
@felicityjohnston9276 I know all to well, as,I have worked at a children's home for abandoned/abused/neglected/or just needed extensive therapy, and I have been trained in human trafficking rescue, also, my ex,his son was taken by the State at the young age of 3. I cant stand when a child tells their parents that someone tried kidnapping them or whatever the extremely wrong action was being tried just to have their parents tell them to knock it off and continue to go about what they were doing. Most children don't just make up stories just because, but,unfortunately, some are taught to lie by their parents and that in its own is disgusting and sad because, just like the little boy who cried wolf,finally when it was very real, Noone believed him until it was to late

Thank God that person ran out of cigarettes & is a decent person of counscience & integrity! 💗 😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵 We never know when we might be called upon to be someone's Guardian Angel. 💗 Let us always be willing to save & help the innocent. And, lest anyone feel lukewarm about this-- Remember that Karma is REAL. ❤️

Wasn’t a fan of the first few, though I’m sure it’s hard to keep quality up with demand. Love the channel tho, been a fan for years. One of the best channels to fall asleep to, tho if I’ve heard the story before it instantly takes me out of my near-sleep-state

That's right, if you pin this comment now, you will get. NOTHING! Absolutely nothing! So stop wasting your time reading this meaningless comment and watch the video already! WELL! What are you waiting for? Didn't I tell you to go watch the video?!
