Love the Aussie on this episode. Not the most input which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I personally would love to hear him argue some points but I love how he was able to know his role, listen to the episode and input whenever he felt he needed or whenever asked and I didn’t disagree with most things he said. Solid vibe. 1st time commenting and I’ve loved the show for a while. Bro, Luka is 1 without a doubt. Team above .50, without him the team is bottom of the league, a lotery team. He is leading in score, in his 14 games in the season he scores 30+ in 12. Leads the league in PER, winshare, VOP, Box +- Is averaging 2 steals per game, top 5 in steals totals in the league, top 10 in deflections. TS% is 60% despites his poor 29% for 3PT, his FG% is 49% despite his 29% in 3PT. His Turn Overs wnet down this season, 10% TO for 100 plays, less then Curry and he is the second guy with most usage in the league. WTF.

The league is getting to a point of talent where player comparisons doesn't really matter who's better at all. Being a better player in the league is valuable which is why these players are prioritized in the draft, but there are far far more busts due to the lack of fit. If at the end of the day, every team is playing for a ring, these championship level teams are built around a firm core with complimenting assets. The most complimentary players have the most value in todays league due to the highest tier of superstars elite ability that separates themselves 5-7 player category.

Scottie is playing through an ankle injury. We beat the cavs and hawks (by 30) then lost to a healthy hawks team by 2 in OT with no Siakam, GTJ or Achiuwa. One thing I will say about kings making the playins-playoffs Mavs look a bit cooked only have 2 ball handlers they are relying heavy on Luka his usage is crazy. He’s already had to rest a couple. When Luka rest or sits they look awful Spence is a mid playmaker a really good scorer tho. NOLA I’m a bit disappointed I thought they would be better they are bad on defense and still very young. I think the west is wide open and kings can sneak into 7-8.

And unpopular opinion but I don’t mind making it. Brandon Ingram’s offense is on par with tatum’s. The only difference is Brandon Ingram’s game is more raw and tatum’s is more polished. B.I is like a raw Kobe, derozan midrange game and Kd esque momentary play’s but every season you see the combination in him become more well rounded and polished. Tatum is like Kobe’s game too but like a hybrid of pg and Kobe.

Iso and 1 on 1 wise I’d put Tatum over Luka. Tatum has the athleticism and quickness to defend but also the better driving force exerted through his athleticism. Iq wise, Luka. He’s a maestro, The matador. He know’s how to lead the orchestra within a 5man symphony. Team wise, I’d take Luka but 1 on 1 I’d take Tatum over Luka based on Tatum having the superior defense and quickness. So mvp candidate wise I’d have Luka over Tatum because this is a team sport and Luka literally conducts the whole team and without him, it’s an out of sync catastrophe losing to the rockets. I’d choose Luka to lead my team but Tatum for the more efficient bucket. So I have Luka over Tatum in the mvp race as of now.

Tatum’s 3 efficiency is better than kawhi’s. Defense isn’t on kawhi’s playoff level. Kawhi has proven over time that when he needs to in clutch moment’s, he’s eligible to clamp anyone. His defense is at the top for a reason. Better offensive bag? I’d say you have a even split for now. Kawhi’s midrange is better because there, he’s more efficient and has more post move’s. Closest thing to automatic in the mid to paint area. At the perimeter for 3, you can give that to Tatum. He has a tighter handle and smoother step backs to create space so his shot becomes an uncontested or less contested 3. He has more range as well, So 3 can go to Tatum. Getting to the rim, Tatum has more of the athleticism but when it comes to enforcing power in getting to the rim and not being affected much by contact and still being able to convert at the rim, that goes to kawhi. Tatum’s smoother more finesse, while kawhi has more strength and power but stiffer. I’d say it’s even, if tatum develops a better mid range arsenal and improves even more defensively I’d give the slighter edge to Tatum but until we see kawhi at full health, we don’t have much of a determining factor other than availability, which 90 percent of the league clears kawhi in that category. Also, Tatum is a better passer than Kawhi.
