Hey Doc Awesome genome grab!!! I am lucky made to level 75! I would Just keep grinding for copper, lights, pipes etc & pushed to get it which was HUGE!! Only thing i bought so far was a doggo & was level 1 St. Bernard. Def want the work bench upgrade & repair bench still gotta fight Borealis few more times also. I Ended up atm 4085 Genomes & have 1 reset i will get before it ends. So level up 1 more time & use everything i got to get as many as possible. I cannot wait for the Forlorn Fair!! Been wondering when it was coming again haha!! it is a great event & got decent rewards. Was working toward division box but out of funds to spend atm so close too lol 4 hr til it leaves. But I'm happy with progress thus far more to come with Forlorn etc grind it up!!! Thanks for the video be watching F2P tomorrow!

You can count actually 450 genomes for each Borealis reset, as you have to do 15 daily tasks as well each time.

You need to do 24 daily task because of the 3 days cooldown on Borealis soo you get 540 Genome every 8 days.

Sort of, except for the fact that you always get your daily tasks. You have to wait for the genome reward of killing the Borealis each 7 - 8 days. Hence my comments on saving a reset per 300.

@@crosssans6133 I just think what is the most efficient use of time? If you don't play really a lot, there are usually more rewarding things to do if a task does not count for borealis.

I was not very happy about the event in the beginning. I thought I need to spend a ton of copper to get the good rewards, especially the cloth storage. And I have little copper. I always use it immideatley for steel for base upgrades. But I was able to grab everything with ease, even though I missed a day! ❤

The workbenches are sweet but I'm concentrating on the repair bench because just been waiting for it for too long and the storage because I've had to slow down on raids as I just don't have the room for another huge raid haul lol

I’ve used almost 180 copper just in the event! Hug decision but went with it, I still have 640 left! I try to never go below 800 of all resources! I should do a video on resources because I’ve got a great method!

Crazy right?! I really wish the benches were a little cheaper in the genome shop, I think they would be huge for newer and mid game players, especially to get raid ready

I got pretty far as well into the Winter Of Despair Event. I barely spended any copper cause i dont think it was worth it to give 20 copper for the value of 50 genome. I dont have much copper and i need stell for my chests to upgrade them into Racks. I dont recomand spending copper if you need stell. I feel sorry for the people that wasted theyr copper without knowing it wasnt worth it in case they need stell for mods, atv, chests and walls and even for the Settlement.

If you don’t have a lot of copper, understandable. However you can farm copper, you cannot farm Genomes. Genomes are the most time gated currency in the game. The trade of copper for Genomes was such a huge time saving, especially since we don’t know if we will have another good opportunity to earn them anytime soon

@@AGGExtra-wi5mq You can actually farm genome. We get 30 genome daily and 300 every 8 days from the Borealis fight. Also if you mean mining copper then forget it cause it requires to much coal like the stell and i would rather use my adds for stell rather than for copper. I dont like copper ore or aluminium ore cause of the high coal consumpion. Soo yeah for me the only way to get copper is from the Transport Hub and from recycling batteries and cameras. Copper isnt an easy resource to get and newer players need a ton of stell for a loot of stuff. Copper is as valuable as stell and i dont think it was worth it to me to give copper. Like how long did this event last around 15 days i think? Im not sure maybe 18 days soo by giving copper daily you would get around 750~900 genome extra compared to giving none. Soo the question is... Was 360 copper worth only 900 genome? Lets say you can assemble 2 atvs with 400 copper cause you can smelt it into stell with adds. Or making around 24 Racks. For older and richer players its woth it but for me definitly not.

I am sorry but you cannot "farm" genomes. You cannot open the game and spend as much time as you want earning genomes. They are time locked, period. If the trade of copper was not worth it for you with where your at, thats fine, but saying you can earn as many genomes as you want whenever you want if just false. As you continue to progress, you are going to find you will get to a point where you don't need steel. Once your base is built and your ATV is finished, the need for steel drastically reduces.

Only people that have stell walls and all theyr chests upgraded dont need stell. For people that dont need it soo much it might be worth it but for me its not
