@@nichirenbuddhismandsokaphi2977 "Oh it's hard to be humble!" ( I forget the country singer) Kidding! I own a couple of Japanese Shakuhachis that I really enjoy playing. Took a couple of lessons at a Zen monastery WAY BACK in 1983-84.

Finished reading the super amazing remaining Chapters in Volume 7 and went to go buy a hard copy of Volume 6 to go back in the last couple weeks while patiently waiting for this awesome installment. I enjoyed sharing with other members incredible content and expressions from President Ikeda’s study of this amazing Gosho. Thanks to Tom I can even continue conveying those points clearer with even more conviction and relevant insight. Grateful for all my teachers especially T and his family. KZbin is officially a buddhaland for me. We have these amazing videos and great contemporary content coming from Buddhability too. So grateful for this lecture and encouragement to really advance in work, life, love and our shared mission! Nam-myoho-renge-kyo!

I am sure we were at the Temple on the same day Frank. We must have a relationship that precedes this lifetime! Thank you!

I am too. I received Gohonzon and never looked back. I hear your early experiences in this Buddhism, and some are similar to mine. Except I did't have a Japanese mentor; mostly anglos, which was good all around. I remember on time a young member asked when will we know when we have reach enlightenment, they said we will let you know, then I thought; I will never make it, there is no hope for me to reach such a great height. That thought stayed with me for many many years. Now I know better. Make me laugh when I think back. So glad I found your YT channel. Be safe. @@nichirenbuddhismandsokaphi2977

The shorter the gosho, the more profound its impact.

Does anyone have any tips for those who just started chanting?
@nichirenbuddhismandsokaphi297711 ай бұрын
Chant as much as you can. Take the actions necessary to receive a Gohonzon. Learn faith first. Have a seeking spirit to understand the truth of your own life, and the untapped power you are able to manifest though faith. Find out how to be associated with the good friends you will need to help you learn how to practice, and that can explain things correctly. Tom
