Thank you so much. I'm a student and I had a lot of trouble figuring this out your video made it much clearer.

Hi Bin, suggestion for a next video: how to create walls/floors on sloped cuts on toposolids (usually cut by a mass). I know we can place walls by face but it doesn't always work well. You might come up with some different idea. The main reason for this is for renderings, like adding material to those retaining walls/floors. Thanks.

Thanks for the idea, do you have an example or sketch for this? It would be good if you can post it in the shared document. I haven’t had any opportunity to play with toposolid since we are still using 2023 in office. I think if it’s only for tender and no need to be precise, we can alway use floor with modify sub element to cover the topic? You can probably try subregion as well.

Hi Bin, Thanks for the tutorials. I learned a lot from your tutorials. I have one request from you if you could make a perforated panel with a gradient effect. I want to use it on my project. I like your way of teaching and explaining. Please if you could help, I will grateful. Thanks.

It depends on what your final product is. If you are looking for elevation, section and 3D view in Revit, I am not sure…. Maybe we can create a face based void family with parameters for the void size, then use Dynamo to control them depending on the elevation. It will make the project very heavy though. If you are going to create render in other tool, such as Lumion, you can use photoshop to create a cutout image and use it in Lumion to create the result you need. Can you post this in the shared doc? I think it can be a quite interesting project. TIA.
