Thank you so much for taking the time to tutorial your designs. I've being using CAD packages since the dark old days of DOGS ['Nova CAD' ... I Hope]. I love Tinker-Cad for its logical and intuitive front-end, but hit its limitations constantly. Every tutorial you do I discover a new tool in Tinker-Cad I knew nothing of, as they are hidden away in rabbit warren options. Please keep these enjoyable deep dives coming!

I like it for that too - it makes it easy for folks to pick it up - but you are also right that some functionality isn't obvious - I am being kind to Tinkercad lol - which makes it hard for folks to get how useful it can be - I am glad you like the vid mate

I’m sorry for your loss. Thank you for your heart and contributions. Surely Patti was proud of you. Your heart and character is a testament to how lovely I’m sure she was

I love the TinkerCad tutorial! It is so easy to use that sometimes it is harder, because it doesn’t make you fully define a sketch like professional CAD versions. Please consider doing more videos like this when building your projects. This video was a very helpful resource!

Imagination, TinkerCad and a 3D printer…..every kids dream…old and young. Nice demonstration of TinkerCad, it’s more powerful than first appearances would suggest.👍

I love watching other people's design processes. I had moved away from Tinkercad because I was convinced it had limitations. Now I see that it was due to my bad habits. I'm going to have to take another look at Tinkercad. Thank you, great video.

Awesome workflow demonstrations in tinkercad lately! I’m working on making a push-push (technically a pull-pull) switch mechanism to operate a swaybar disconnect on my Jeep. (Offroad Only’s Swayloc for reference). I’ve been struggling through the tinkercad interface with very few good functional, technical tutorials to follow.

Someone mentioned I didn't do enough tutorials on how i work - so I am trying to remedy that - glad it helps mate

@ in two videos, you’ve unlocked two projects I’ve been struggling with. Moving workplaces to surfaces and code blocks weren’t immediately obvious in their use within tinkercad. Being a dive in and discover type of learner, their use needs instruction to even create awareness of their existence.

Windify on Thingiverse has 1 bit adder, a logic circuit that is made of smaller logic gates (and, or, xor). This may be worth exploring if you had wanted to find something that merges something like a transmission and a clock. These things are really interesting as one could include simple logic in a mechanical device. (P.S. I'm hooked on tinkering with it because of you 😂😂😂 and also the toy tractor)

This basic design is the basis of a reciprocal saw. A butter maker. An EIM (extremely illogical machine), which pushes a button at either end of it's reach to reverse the motion of it's drive motor, thus creating a reciprocal motion.

lol - I really like the EIM - it's in my mind lol

12:40 Can't you just take the hole, Copy it, enlarge that copy after swapping it to a solid to a hole. Then align the gear, hole & enlarged yoke. Merge the 3 & be done?
