I appreciate your style, showing a couple of attempts at getting your ratchet strap just right, talking about taking the tie rods off or not, these are all real things we do as we work through projects. Thanks for the video 👍

Thanks for the video Heavy. I also enjoy repair videos. No matter how long that a person has been wrenching for a living they can always pick up useful tips or a better way to do something from watching others. My Kubotas have a similar front drive setup. When I used to run them in our wet red mud I’d take a water hose to the front axle to wash the mud off. I was essentially taking pressurized water and pushing watery mud into the pivot area. I stopped that practice. I let the mud dry then stiff brush it off. Washing tractors with pressurized water and soap regularly is a bad idea.

Saved me $3000+ and waiting 6 weeks. JD mechanic was getting me talking about buying a new tractor. Replaced the seal and a worn bearing in a couple hours

Better safe than sorry doing the job once replacing both seals at the same time.Don't want to do the job twice just replacing one seal.Bungee cords come in handy too holding things up as well.I have a plenty of these on hand
