That's awesome how quickly it worked. I usually use hot water to strip a tumbler but I may try it your way on the cup I need to strip.

I just threw away 3 cups that I had done a few years ago that were messed up, and I kept them in case I found a way to fix them. Thank you for the lesson on how to take care of future ones!!! You and Don are great!!! ( didn't want him to feel left out hahahaha)

That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! I was thinking it was gonna be like stripping paint off of wood. But the acetone ate right through that resin! Wow!😊 I want to put a picture of my dog that passed away on a tumbler. Can you please tell me how i can do that?

I don’t mean this in any disrespect, but how can this process be more cost-effective than just a new cup then you wouldn’t have to worry about all the chemicals, all the mess and all the time wasted

It’s just an option, sometimes cost doesn’t matter if it’s your only tumbler to work with.

Sometimes the tumbler is expensive. Such as a Yeti.

Why not just sell this one for half price and start new? So much waste with the acetone, paper, aluminum foil, and the resin/vinyl.

It probably cost $2 or 3 to stop it down. It’s extremely difficult to sell mistakes. 🥴 I print my own vinyl so it’s not expensive when you purchase 50 sheets of blank vinyl at a time. This is a good solution for those that don’t have or cannot afford to buy another tumbler and wait for a mistake to sell. 😊
