I feared you’ll not mention the carbon deposit issue, kudos for a thorough research. Other issues based on my personal experience one may face are: 1. Transmission issues: many Hyundai drivers I’ve spoken with, including myself have changed transmission at least once (Elantra, Velostar, etc) especially once mileage gets close to 100,000. 2. Parts are usually more costly compared to Toyota and Honda 3. Experienced Hyundai specialist mechanics are more difficult to find (at least in Lagos) for the more intricate problems (electrical, engine, etc) 4. Resale value is improving now, but Toyota and Honda are still very much ahead

@@777BTC I’ve just gone back to check my receipts. Back when ignition coil for a Camry 011 was about N7,500. Elantra/Accent/Velostar/Sonata of the same generation was about N12,500. 8ltrs of Transmission fluid for Hyundai family cost about 35-38k (4,500 for 2ltrs) last year. Toyota transmission fluid was about 26k (13k for 4ltrs) at the time. If memory serves me correctly. This figures may not be exact for everyone but just an estimate of difference.

@@lifestyletv8719 it’s difficult to compare exactly because no two days are the same and traffic conditions impact measurements. I’ll say they’re around the same or Hyundai being slightly worse, if at all.

One issue with this car is that it faces the “oil dry” issue… Unlike other cars, you may need to top up your oil every 6-8weeks… My favorite feature of this car is its fuel economy… Hyundai did a really good job with that Finally, it’s better to race/move at top speed in sports mode instead of eco… As racing in eco stresses the engine In all, it’s a perfect buy!!! I recommend
