I read "Against Intellectual Property" in the mid-90s when I was first getting into and studying Linux and cryptography and it blew my little mind! I've been a big fan ever since!
One point Steve missed was patent trolls. That one aspect of patents makes it worse than war and everything else combined in its badness.

I really have a hard time seeing how anything could be worse than war...

@@wowhallo the same way that you might not see how withholding information could be worse than war. Let’s say I know how to cure heart disease, 100% guaranteed, works every time, but the law doesn’t allow me to publish the book with the answers, that would be effectively far worse than starting a war with a death toll of 10 million.

The state will always ensure you are not free, regardless of any legal safeguards. Libertarianism is either deliberately mendacious or based on magical thinking

Bruh just spent 2 hours explaining foundational ideas he supports and teaches on without any ability to justify holding those positions from his world view. Cracks me up every time. I'm not saying he is wrong he just has no founding for his legal founding, I enjoy the irony.

Mr. Kinsella is one of the greatest legal theorists alive. He resides among the ranks of Prof. Hoppe and Rothbard. He came up with the estoppel approach to punishment justification that is similarly groundbreaking for libertarian legal theory as the argumentation ethics argument by Hoppe, which is the most important and strongest argument against any proposed socialistic or criminal “norm”. Read his work to see an ability to logically deduce that is very hard to match.
