My Dutch friends on their Polish registered Seawind 1260 bought their Starlink dishy in Japan (at a nice discount), registered it for Panama, paid extra for global roaming while we crossed the Pacific. Their base rate is $70USD/month. I pay $150/month USD for the same service registered in California. If I was with you I would just ask other boats to make sure I could sign up for Panama...get the lower rate. Entertaining the birds. In the North Pacific we only saw a few birds, thousands of jellyfish and nothing else. I was trolling my hand line. It was like an IQ test for birds. Most liked buzzing it, but only one actually landed on the water to get a closer look. Clearly they knew it wasn't a fish, but after our boat it was the only activity in the area. Sea bird KZbin, you can watch but that's all.
