You must coat the Blower with anti static paint to prevent paint buildup. Anti static changes the ion hence buildup CPVC pipes are made with ani static to prevent inner surface of pipe buildup. It’s same thing. Get it.

Boy did that fan need cleaning. I've actually witnessed a paint booth catch on fire right at that blower motor because of paint caked on the fins like yalls was. Good job. Looks amazing

I know it’s a paint booth but if you could get the Channel Name or business name logos painted or vinyled on the end wall would look nice. Be a way to promote and be something cool have. Could cover it with Plexiglass say it wouldn’t get messed up with over spray.

That squirrel cage could not have been moving much air - the air flow must have greatly increased after stripping the old paint out. Nice job guys!

Beautiful booth. I've seen where guys will put cheap coarse filters in front of the finer ones and replace them more often, but also it extends the life of the more expensive filters behind them.

Big effort to step up the game at the shop. Cleaner means higher productivity and quality, same with organization of the shop and the yard. Yuri, i had to be the one to clean my dad's shop up, paint, reorganize..redo the office and the work areas. Night and day difference. My Dad wished it had been done 30 years earlier. Keep stepping up your game, it pays off.

HI Yuri - good job - looks well. You should finish it off with 1-2 coats of "peelable booth coating" - it just washes off, but keeps the booth walls looking fresh. Should also think about fitting rubber tiles on the outside rows of the floor - woiuldn't make much difference to the air flow and a lot more comfortable for painting. You should also add an additional pre-filer to that fan - never seen one so clogged!

We coated it with a booth coating that just hoses right off, so hopefully it will be less work next time

Was thinking the same. When I was doing body repair 20 years ago we use tacky coat on the tiles. It would powerwash right off

Switch the lights to LED, it will pay for it self with cheaper usage, and bulbs will last longer. That's not only a huge swing in energy savings; LED lights give your finishes a truer color. They are safer and don't present the fire and explosion hazard that overheated bulbs do when coming into contact with paint chemicals. Love what you guys are doing!

They actually are leds but they are not for this booth and sit at a bad angle. All need to be replaced.

The 3m sticky fiber liner rolls for the walls is great for maintenance compared to the spray on liner.

Just a couple of tips, never let the fan blades buildup like that as friction will cause a fire. The glass needs to be installed air tight to keep flammable vapours from the electrical system. Now that the glass has been cleaned or replaced cover it in Saran wrap,making it easier to keep clean by simply pulling it off and replacing it. Some of the filters used in the extraction system can have the dirty top layer pealed away saving you money.

I finally got to watch it. GREAT GREAT GREAT JOB! You cleaned the squirrel cage too! That was the biggest thing to do to move the air. As you saw the build up. The was slowing the air down. A nice booth will provide better paint jobs!

The body shops in my area just run the booths till they die and then buy another one. A tip for that style booth is to get rid of that outer row of grates and put in a solid floor. This will greatly cut down on the trash and will be more comfortable on your knees.

You clean your paint booth the same way I undercarriage detail my Jeep. Spray paint right over the mud and rust.

Check the back of those lights the front might be sealed and you service the bulbs from the outside. they do this to avoid electrical sparks in an area with solvent vapors. You may also be able to replace the glass from the outside too.
