Thank you so much, Brett, for these lessons. I am finally learning to play my dulcimer with understanding and technique. Not so easy for these 70-year old hands but I plan to keep at it.

I took the first lesson with all of the chords and since November 2019, I’ve taught myself 12 songs. The one I’ve taught myself to do a fancy picking style is Jason Isbell’s, “Coved Me Up!” My grown children are proud and amazed!!!!! So am I.

Where did you get your dulcimer? What brand/make is it? Despite living in GA, my grandfather bought a dulcimer here in AR. He gave it to me, and it looks very similar to yours! I think he got it in Northeast AR, but not sure

btw dislikes count the same as likes if you didn't know, so instead of asking for likes only, you could suggest hitting like if you liked it and dislike if you didn't, it seems a bit less like begging. I loved the video though so dont worry which im going to hit though

I don't like the way you play one song at the beginning and teach a different song. Very confusing to not hear the song that you're teaching until the very end.

The song at the beginning is sort of like the intro theme song. But if this makes you feel any better, on the newer lesson videos I play the song at the very beginning. It’s only like that on the older lessons
