I bought a blaster box with only 6 packs in it. Didn't notice until I opened the packs and couldn't return them. I reached out to Topps with no reply from them will never by Topps product again.

4/5 hangers in n my best pulls were adley blue ($25) blue grissom(?) and acuna homefield advantage ($25). Got 1 blaster and it was horrible

Man, nobody likes those HVAs, do they? $25 bucks for a case hit Acuna? Even panini case hits get motors than that. I've got a Yadier Molina Downtown from 2020 that sells for $250+

@@snerdterguson ??? Congrats The HFA are desired but not like a downtown. HFA is basically topps version of a DT. I wasn't saying I pulled a million dollar card, just saying what I got, man. I was happy to pull 40 bucks out of a 12 dollar box, especially series 1 retail

Clearly I’m commenting on how, despite the rarity, similar (if not outright stolen) design to DT and from a more desired brand, Topps, that have logos… nobody seems to really like them. If they did, they would be selling for much more.

Just for future reference the gold ssp have a gold logo on the front of the cards. (Because as you know there not always turned around, if ever?).

Even without logos, the Downtown case hits from Diamond Kings sell for SO much more than the HVAs. Bryce Harper certainly has more hobby love than Yadier Molina, yet that case hit of Harper sells for maybe $20-30 and I have a Molina Downtown that has sold, multiple times (and I mean, there are probably like 5 or more sales of $200+, with a couple topping $250) for $200-$250+

I've gotten double inserts with some of my jumbo packs,but nothing like a half a pack of S.O.T.MLB inserts.

I remember back in like 1999 or so, getting a hot pack of Topps that was all inserts, but I'm fairly sure that was an intended thing. I remember seeing one other pack like the one I got being opened. If I recall correctly, I got one Griffey insert but nothing else memorable.

The retail prices will drop on these quick. Local target has had 30 $50 dollar mega boxes and roughly 30 blasters on the shelf for almost two weeks. Even the SGC deal on grading can't move these things. Not much use buying these when there's absolutely nothing of value to get graded.

Curious how low you paid. $15 per box feels like I guess a reasonable price. Even still 15 bucks for 24 blasters is about 2 jumbo which in thia release has so much more overweighted upside. But yeah the word is certainly out that retail is crazy overprinted with brutal odds and clearly overpriced making it an easy pass for series 1 until it hits the 70% off clearance rack.
