Kibitz, you gotta put the beavers on shorter shifts, they need to have the downtime to actually USE the amenities you build for them to increase the happiness score, otherwise they're always going to be slow. Just 2-3 hours of downtime is enough to get most of the happiness buffs in the early game and the increase in work and run speed is more than worth it, plus they live longer so fewer growing pods to maintain, which is better for disasters since as happiness lowers the beaver count will naturally decline to accommodate.

I never felt like Timerborn had a fun endgame, but after this update and your showcase I feel like I'd love to see a big Kibitz megabase!

I've actually built the wonder as fast as possible on all the maps in Timberborn (some as both factions). How fast you can build the wonder depends on the map but if we use Waterfalls (the easiest map to "speedrun") as a reference: assuming you never pause the game and run it at max speed you can build the wonder in less than 6 hours of real time on hard mode difficulty. Due to Ironteeths breeding mechanic, power situation, and ability to gain science passively 24/7 with Number Crunchers they are vastly faster to wonder rush with than the folktails. In terms of cycles generally on the smaller/better maps you can do it in 15 cycles (~6 Hours) . On more tedious maps like Diorama and thousand islands generally you can do it in less than 25 cycles (~10 hours). Timberborn speedruns will never be a thing though because while you often micro your beavers heavily in the early game the last stretch of the run after you set up production and start building is entirely AFK and it takes about an hour and a half of that.

I’d like to see how far he could take this run optimizing power and stuff. I also can’t wait for more updates maybe like an aquatic faction (like growing rice and using the semi flooded tiles for housing) or maybe a faction that introduces like a burrowing mechanic. Imagine beavers fracking for natural gas or tapping oil, mining precious resources or stone, hell beavers that worship like Aztecs for mood buff rituals or maybe have it affect the weather as you build monuments. But I’m not a dev and am not qualified to be one would be cool to see where they take this game from here

You could've let the badwater tide flow out from the source directly by putting levees just after the source with sluice or gates. Water will raise, and then throw the water back over the source off from the map :D. Just an tip for next time. Great video though.

Fluids are incompressible, the water sources give .5 sq blocks of water per, so for 6 source blocks you need 3 full block exit gates
