I have been kayak trolling this week. I highly recommend the Rapala HJ6. 2.5”. Dives less than 5ft. Perfect for just outside the weed line. Use rod holders!!

Just a thought/suggestion if you want to try a slightly tweaked approach. Start the prime rib with just a touch of oil on super high heat. Get a real nice sear on one side. Flip it, turn the heat to medium, throw in the butter and turn off the heat completely. Burnt butter versus browned butter are quite different, garlic as well. Anyway, love watching your videos and got myself a Fish n More hat not too long ago. It’s sick.
