I'm giant Trout fishing in the remote wilderness doing a solo survival challenge with no food and no water. A giant Trout catch & cook is my only hope for food and the lake had horrible tasting alkaline water, so I try finding water with a new method.

Is he still an "outsider" or has he been accepted into the pack yet? Totally looking forward to seeing video of he and the goatees all playing together! 🥰(Next you'll have a Colt, and a Remington on the farm. I always joke that if I ever have a son I'm naming him "Winston Winchester Sue.") 😅 I don't doubt your drainage water tasted algae-riffic. Definately some wintertime marshy run-off from snow melt. Maybe pack some electrolyte water additives to mask the flavor and help to hydrate? I'm surprised there wasn't still snowpack as a direct water source. Your cottontail reed pipeline was innovative AF though! Kudos! I'm not surprised your handi-capable trout tasted great. Extra muscle to make up for his missing fin. That was one buff fish. 😁 What a fantastic excursion! Do you ever cast lines with your subscribers? I know you seem to prefer the solo treks, but since we're "outdoor neighbors" I always felt like someday I'd run across you out in the wild in your yellow Econoline. It would have been easier to spot than your blue Ford. I may not be a mighty hunter, but I make a mean cast-iron pineapple-upside-down cake or dutch-oven cobblers while out on the mountain. 2:10 How flammable is the black on this tree??? The Japanese use charcoaled bamboo as a cooking heat source as it burns so efficiently hot, I wonder if the charcoaled parts of the tree could be used at least in combination with something to cook with...
