I had a bearded dragon for 12 years. His name was Louis and he just passed in April 💚 so funny that Chris is scared of Mango! All men/boys that met Louis over the years were TERRIFIED of him at first. All the women/girls loved him instantly 😂

I had over 20 of them at home ne point when my parents would Acutally rescue them where I’m from. Just over the years they passed away and we stopped doing it but out of all reptiles I highly recommend bearded dragons

We had a bearded dragon in my high school science class. The guys in the class were easily weirded out by Chloe. Us girls were always the first to offer too feed, hold, play with and clean the cage. The guys would damn near out of the classroom when her cage had to be cleaned.

I do the same thing with my son's school calendar. I individually input every single date. They have a way to auto sync it but I can never figure out how to get it to work right because there's always a few errors. So I just do it manually into my Google calendar.

It is called multi-level classrooms. Usually montessori schools practice this approach. Basically all subjects are the same its just that they vary in difficulty. That is why they are divided according to primary and intermediate classes. It is a very good way for students to interact. Some of the older ones can get to help the littler ones in the class. It eliminates unhealthy competition too 😊

Definitely a unique approach.. competition could definitely be squashed/handled lots of other ways. Like, idk, discussing it with the kids rather. Just hope the teachers are down with the system they're working with.🤞🏻

I have a friend who teaches in a school that does this (grades 1 through 4 all integrated) and she said the amount of prep work needed is so much more than in a regular year-divided school. She teaches maths and can always only pull a number of students (usually those of a certain year group) to the side to introduce a new concept and then leaves them with the material to figure it out and develop the concept themselves, only having an idea of their actual progress by continuously grading every single sheet of paper that they worked on. The class also includes children with special needs, and she is actually a special needs teacher, even though her current job is as a regular classroom teacher. But having some difficult cases adds to the overall chaos of the school. I believe one of the new kids who joined her class this past week is strongly suspected of having a severe form of autism and his only form of verbal communication is hissing. I‘m not so sure whether his situation is going to improve with having to deal with the sensory overload of such a classroom system… Needless to say, whenever I talk to her she doesn‘t seem to be a fan of this system. Now I think integrating different year groups can work, but it strongly depends on the subject. P.E. or any of the creative subjects come to mind. Also possibly, having some kind of „project week“ where natural science or human science topics are explored together. Or maybe even integrating kids from different year groups according to their individual learning approaches and needs. But if you‘re doing fully integrated year groups as they do at my friend‘s school I think you need a ridiculously high teacher to student ratio which won‘t be ably to be supplied in the already understaffed state school system…

Their montessori school combines grades together as it is not as structured as main stream schooling. They haven't said much about their co parenting schedule with T and C, since T moved in full time
