Appreciate your efforts and money spend in conducting this test. Conclusion is till 6 hrs running unit consumed @ 1 unit per hour. Then onwards unit consumed per hour starts decreasing. Hence longer you run bigger the savings.

No his testing is wrong, during the entire 24hrs outside temperature is changing so ac load will change, it will be less at night due to lower night temperature

This shows that inverter ac are so much power efficient then old technology ac. During night only 3 unit used. Now I can throw my cooler and use a ac to cool my room. What an amazing technology. I think if i use 8-10 hour uring night. Monthly not more than 1000 rs bill extra for Ac.

Bro the room was already cooled hence it consumed 3 units only you can still consider it to eat up 6 units easily even if you use it at night. Because the compressor will work anyways at full load to bring the temp down initially once its down then it runs at lesser rpms to maintain cooling. 5Star benefits can only be obtained if you have usage of 10hrs+ a day.

My whole 3Bhk house is 1450 sqft my AC is installed in my 1st master bedroom of size 120sqft, i tested same thing for entire house keeping door open for all internal rooms and closing all exterior doors and windows. i turned on AC at 25 degree and within 3 hours my 1st room kitchen n dinning area where very much comfort cool 2nd room was okayish and 3rd room too .... Drawing hall temperature was 28.5 degree and all other room temperaature was 27.5 kictchen was close so recorded 26.5 and my room was at 25 degree ( outside temperature was 39 degree) my AC model is voltas 185v vertis windows 1.5 ton 5 star ( total energy consumed for 28 hours keeping all door open was = 13.68 unit ) - from jamshedpur city

what's the use of 80%, 60%, 40% efficiency mode. It will consume units of electricity equal to 100% efficiency because after maintaining Room temperature AC @ 100% efficiency will also consume very less units. Please confirm/Clarify

i think in 100% peak electricity consumption will be higher as compared to others at full load

40% will limit the cooling capacity of AC to its 40% capacity. For example- Ac with 4000w capacity will be limited to 1600w so less power consumption if the rating is 5.10 then power consumption will be around 0.313 kw per hour. I hope that clears up your doubt.

The ambient temperature is just 32 degrees to begin with. The room must have stated closed all the time which is usually not the case. These are ideal conditions, hence the consumption is less. In reality, in full summer, the consumption will be a lot more.

This is how I use my 1.5 ton 3 star Carrier inverter AC. I turn on the AC around 12 PM at 26 degree Celsius, leave it like that for an hour until the room gets cold. Then I turn on the ceiling fan at speed 1 and leave it like that till sunset and then increase AC temperature to 27 degree and leave it like that till 4 AM. It hardly consumes 10 units a day (that includes my 2 star 260ltr fridge which runs 24*7, microwave oven, electric kettle, ceiling fans on other rooms, lights, exhaust fans on kitchen and bathroom, washing machine etc). You need to learn how to maximum advantage of an inverter AC if you want to stay cool and save money at the same time.

Have been using same AC for 3years+. Bought it for 43k (wifi variant and normal was 1.5k cheaper) I have the wifi variant where u can control the ac with the help of mobile app and can also track the wattage usage even for 2-3 years back Ac is good but maintenance cost is on upper side. On an average, we use 10-15 hours daily and the Units consumed are appx 0.5 per hour But if you use 10-15 hours daily, its indoor unit's inner coil will be chocked with dust and can only be clean by taking out the coil. This will cost some somewhere around 1000-2000 by LG guys. Regular service cost is 850rs. 3 year AMC costed us after 3 years is 12k. So you can think and buy the AC.
