Brings back happy memories; I competed (& completed!) DW in 1981. Life changing.

It's never easy and it's such a mind game. We're 86 days away and I don't even know which boat I'll be doing DW 2013 in

I am just curious how they can claim the "Longest Nonstop Canoe Race on Earth"....at only 125 miles its not close. Check out the Missouri River 340 or the Texas Water Safari (265 Miles) both are longer, and I would also venture to guess the Water Safari is also more technical.

+Matt B Never heard of the Texas Water Safari but looks and sounds like a considerable challenge !
