Haha great idea! Costs vary of course, depending on your travel style. But on average hotels in Madrid will cost $120 per night and meals $25. I didn't use any public transport while in the city, everything was pretty much walkable. But the cab ride to the airport from the city centre was $20 one side. Hope this helps you. 😁
