1. Spa services at Al Safwa First Class Lounge allows priority sleeping room access.
2. Qatar Airways is dine on demand, so push that call button for any service; and discuss with the flight attendant your first and second meal choices in the beginning of the flight, so they can be reserved.
3. Don't miss the Karak Chai, Saffron flavored.

Alot of new fliers on QATAR AIRWAYS don't realize its service on demand, and the flight attendants don't typically walk around to see if you need anything (versus typical US service), and customers become disappointed with the experience. The call button is your friend and to get the good experience with QATAR AIRWAYS,.

Doha does have some very nice lounges. I'm a big fan of showers between flights to freshen up and feel rejuvenated. ☺

Yes, I hear you about the showers being available with the many airline lounges. I like them for that and just to being to sit down in a little more calmer area at airports.

Compared to the Emirates bathroom that you reviewed before, Qatar bathroom is definitely on the smaller side, but the window in the bathroom is a nice touch!

Definitely...the bathroom brings some fresh natural light in, especially after a long flight. I do wish Qatar made their bathrooms larger, so it's easier to change into Pajamas.

Ahh, the teddy bear! Haha! Was Al Safwa lounge worth it due to the 0 wait time? I remember the business class lounge had such a long wait time that it was honestly not worth it when the layover for my flight back from Bangkok was just about 3 hrs. Then again, the food looks spectacular! And I see you're a lover of the biryani man 😝

Al Safwa is definitely worth it for the less crowds. Doha usually has bank of flights that come in in the evening and late at night/early morning, so the business class lounges do get very crowded. If the funds allow, I would recommend Al Safwa for the sleep rooms. Their food is decent, but alcohol selection is still lacking. With the opening of the Garden Lounge, the crowds are definitely improved.

It’s not true that you don’t get service if you don’t call them . At the start , staff will ask your dining choice and time you want it . During the flight , when staff passes by , just ask for drinks . If u can’t wait , call.

For ultralong hauls, they will take your initial order and timing of such order. If you don't give them your choice for the second meal, then it may be out by the time you order.. After the first meal, the staff usually leaves you alone, assuming you want to sleep. For people who wait for the flight attendants to come by to get something/service will be sorely disappointed with Qatar Airways. This is coming from data point of more than 10 DFW/SFO-DOH flights. Qatar Airways expect you to use the call button, since it is dine on demand.
