I was thinking about you guys lately, when I visited Burghausen, which is, based on your understanding of distances, around the corner from where you live. The castle is one of the world longest, overlooking a lake on one side and the village of Burghausen on the other. I have to confess that I, as a German, never heard about this place untill three weeks ago, which is a shame 'cause it's worth a visit! So my plan is to hook you up and wait for another wonderful video. 😉😁 Btw, your Iceland videos are stunning!

Fun fact: Königssee isn't a Canyon (carved by water), but actually a real Fjord (carved by glaciers), just like the ones in Norway or New Zealand. And just like them it is quite deep. The only difference is that it isn't connected to the ocean, obviously.

Wow, Willa seems to be a really strong, hardened girl - going for a swim in the lake. Due to it being really deep the water is colder than you might expect. Too bad that St. Bartholomae was closed due to covid. On the opposite you still got decent weather conditions and it wasn't too crowded. As you could experience the trumpet echo: Imagine living / working at the Salet Alm from fall to autumn where they take care of their cows, producing cheese etc. During bad weather conditions (thunderstorms) you do not just hear the rumbling thunder but also its echo's - can become a really scary event.

A two day recommendation to Switzerland: 1.) Luzern with Vierwaldstättersee 2.) Lauterbrunnen valley with the mountain train to the Jungfraujoch at 3454m (11,332 ft), the highest train station in Europe. It's quite expensive, but worth the money, warm clothing required. I don't know if this is too much for a toddler. Switzerland in general is expensive. Don't drive too fast, fines are high also.
