You need more then 24 hours to see and hike. I was there 4 months but didn't get see everything but it is a beutiful park. im gonna take a trip back some day.

I worked in curry village as a house keeper and loved every minute of it.i got stared down by a black bear when I was cleaning one of the cabins but that experience was worth every minute.i love yosemite.i miss it and hope to go back one day.

300-318 something like that..it's been a long time but that was the section I worked.i loved every minute being there.i climbed the cables at half done and when I first got there I couldn't believe there are people climbiring the face of half dome and just hanging there sleeping .

I live near the hwy 41 entry. It's open again. I recorded the fires, it's burnt toast. Last year and today's fires plus the pine beetles have killed off 85-% of the pines. On August 29 there were camping spots! That's rare.

For mine the best full day would be to hike the Mist and Panorama Trails past Vernal, Nevada and Illilouette Falls to Glacier Point, then come down on the 4 Mile Trail. Pretty much get to see the entire valley on that hike
