Why you don't take the airport train to go to the downtown, avoiding the traffic jam and also it's quite cheap, more faster. And also in the town better take the MRT train Metro train we call KRL or BRT buses, all with AC and quite comfy except on rush hour. At Pasific Place also they sell the Lamborgini, Ferrari and others luxurious car in the mall.

I agree Bangkok car etc follow rules don't honk but traffic pace in Sukumvit Asok etc is very slow..I find it even slower than Bangalore..Jakarta means gone then ..after Japan looking forward for Indonesia series!!

It's not apples to apples if you compare traffic jams in Bangkok and Jakarta because in terms of population alone they are far apart, metropolitan Jakarta has 35 million people and metropolitan Bangkok only has 17 million people, in fact metropolitan Jakarta is the second most populous in the world after metropolitan Tokyo and plus Jakarta is a place where people from all over Indonesia migrate to work, so don't imagine that Jakarta will not be congested
