Guys this will be my first time at Le Mans. I was so sad because of the "goodbye 458 exhaust sound" (I am not a Ferrari fan) I have to confess I'm the biggest Porsche fan ever and I am so excited about that new RSR exhaust sound! Fucking hell I went to the 6h Mexico and it didn't sound like that! I am sooooo excited wooohooooo!

To be honest, i am not a huge fan of the 911 RSR sound. Sure, it is pretty loud, but does that automatically make it sound better? Not in my eyes. Of course this is just my personal opinion and many may disagree, but in my opinion, both the Aston and the Corvette still have the best sounds of these cars. Nothing beats that mighty V8 roar. But that's just my point of view. Nevertheless it was - as always - a pleasure watching the video, keep up the good job you're doing. I can't wait for the next one... :)

Oh - and toss in a few dozen prototypes. Its the Motorsport equivalent of Mozart or Beethoven. For 24 hours on. I don't even have a favorite engine music. Some like blondes - others? Brunettes. Or redheads. Or......

The reason why the 'Vette seemed quieter than the RSR is because the 'Vette has side exhausts while the RSR has rear (and the comparison was recorded from the rear). Don't get me wrong, they are both the loudest cars on the grid, but it is tough to say which is louder.

Amazing! What gear do you use to record? I'm going to the six hrs of the glen and my phone distorts the sound when recording especially the C7R and I'd imagine with the RSR beauty. Would like to pick up a reasonable camera that doesnt distort, thanks.

Why didn't the Porsche 911 RSR's sound like this last year?! The same ones in IMSA howled just like this! What a sound!! I know they weren't mid-engined at the time but still I wonder. Porsche NA brought 2 of them when Porsche Team Manthey was absent.

Aha, a little bit louder :) The exhaust is at the back of the Porsche so in this video it seems louder. But take a video of the side of the two cars and the Corvette will win ;)

Artiom Abrei, I Wasn't hating on the performance, The Eco boost engine is a little monster that offers tremendous horsepower and torque for it's size with better fuel economy. It sounds very different but very strong. The sound is going to take a bit to get use'd to.

Ford exhaust note is unique in the crowd. Some cars sound awesome, some like an impending heart attack. Ford GT sounds like a huge chainsaw, and not in a good way. I guess if you hear the exhaust note, you are behind it. Anyway, it's the best looking thing around and I don't care if it sounds... weird.
