I'm not at all surprised that your muscle memory for taking good photos was like getting back on a bike after not doing much riding for a while. Loved the sea of helmets shot. It's easy to overlook the video and music tying the static shot together. The shot where nothing was moving through the frame except the smoke from the cigarettes was very nice. 👍

It was really interesting to follow you around Ho Chi Minh City as he explored the streets and alleys for photo opportunities. I could really get a sense of the vibrant energy of the city through your footage. I liked seeing the various street scenes, food stalls, and portraits he captured. I got the XH2s myself recently too. Great camera. It produces wonderful footage and the files have so much flexibility for grading. I just wish the autofocus was a little better for video work. Your videos and pictures here look wonderful. How are you finding taking photos with the XH2s compared to the XT series? Also, you're probably already aware of this, but there's a menu setting named "Auto Power Off Temp". It's set on "standard" by default, but if you change it to "high" it allows you to film for longer before the camera will overheat.

The Vietnamese guy warned you be careful with your camera is very good advised , even with expensive iPhone try not to used it on side street as bad peoples on the bike can grab them and runs …. The risk with tourist are actually less for tourist than Vietnamese themselves because they are more friendly and welcome foreigners and treat them better than theirs own . I’m Vietnamese and I knows

Nice video. IMO taking a great still takes much more skill. You evidently have that. HCMC is very photogenic. The bloke said take care of your camera because snatch theft is a bit of an issue. It can happen anywhere but, it's highly unlikely you'll get mugged. Apart from some places in District 4 at night, I've never felt threatened here. let me know when you're back. :)

Really tough question. I love the way you see the world and am thankful you share that with us, so video in that visual storytelling direction... wants to be a yes. But. You're so good with permission, respecting the nod or having conversations. That just isn't always possible or practical with video. The detail shots, could be anyone and astounding at telling the story, definite yes please. When I watch some of the identifiable faces in video, when there's no eye contact acknowledgement, would they be ok with it? I can't know, and I'm not sure I can be comfortable with it without knowing. Anyway, just one person's thoughts, respect for both what you do and how you choose to do it
