I've been playing the game for a long time. I think my favorite part of the game is seeing new players and the lights in their eyes as they learn about this beautiful shared world! If you finish the three sets of Tall Tales, crack open the bilge rat adventures tab. Completing those is where the doubloons (and content) are at.

Great video! Tip regarding the seemingly immortal skeleton: you need to hold out your lantern in front of it first. It’s a shadow skeleton so if you see it in a wispy shadowy form, hold out your lantern, it will pause for a bit and have a little animation, then it is vulnerable to attacks.😊

Always wanted to play when the game released but couldn't do to a car wreck, then job loss, then covid lockdowns, then crypto boom which stole all the graphics cards that kept me from upgrading my PC. Finally bought the game on sale this christmas and I have been watching videos on how to solo sloop effectively. This is pretty much spot on to what I expect, although I have been a pretty avid FPS player all my life so PvP shouldn't be too bad for me. The only thing I want to do is the shroudbreaker quest line as soon as possible before the game starts dumping me into the larger pool of experienced players with dark adventurer sails on brigs. When I heard the "So anyway I started blasting" I knew this video was going to take me for a ride and when I heard the Full House music with your rendition that made me laugh I instantly subscribed. Good to know that you can still buy the hidden barrel emote. I thought they took that away and I was a sad panda. I think you are the only person I have ever seen SUCCESSFULLY hide on his OWN ship lol.

I’d recommend doing the sea forts for loot until you reach rep 25 in a faction then star using the newly unlocked voyage type. It’s the fastest way to max it out. Bonus points for using emissary but that puts a target on your back. Also, never assume that every player is friendly. Great video though

Forgot to mention, sea forts are the 6 stone buildings/islands/forts across the map (not golden sands). I was not talking about the skeleton forts which are island with wood fortifications
