This is exactly my life right now (first full night, first two hour nap, squirmy breastfeeding, three to two nap/day transition, trying to prioritize workouts for myself, taking advantage of any sun, improv singing all the time, braids hiding hair falling out, the not crawling but mobile, all the noises, “that lasted a good ten min” and it’s so encouraging that it’s “normal” thank you.

She is literally so freakin adorable!!! It’s crazy how much time it really does take to keep the routine going. I just don’t know how parents that work full time jobs and are back to work by 6 months do it! Obviously day care I guess takes care of them and hopefully does the same things to help keep them on the routine. I’m sure it’s nice to have a job where you can take care of her and work from home! I love what a good team the two of you are too!! You are doing awesome!

It would be amazing if you could share how you instilled such great sleeping habits in Sage! The fact that she is able to put herself to sleep, that she wakes up 0-1 times a night, and that she naps for such decent stretches is mind-boggling to me! I have a 6-month old who wakes up 6+ times a night, takes mostly cat naps (a 30+ minute nap is a win!), and on top of that, it takes me longer to put him to sleep than the duration he actually stays asleep 😩 For the first 3.5 months of his life, he had terrible reflux, because of which we'd have to hold him upright for sometimes an hour after each feeding, and now he's so used to being held and rocked that he literally can't go to sleep any other way. Long story short, I'd love to hear your advice regarding baby sleep! 😊 I feel like my entire day (and night!) is spent trying to get him to sleep and so any recommendations you have would be great!
