Letting them fall asleep on you may work eith some few babies but most will struggle to link the sleep cycles, particularly during the naps. It's all nice and cosy, yes, but doesn't help them sleep better

Since she was born I kept lights on, tv on, made loud noises, all the above. She can sleep through ANYTHING. Even the house alarm I set off by accident. I made it my goal to not have to tip toe around her. When it’s time for bed, she goes down with no issue and I can still watch tv and get things done. Especially during naps. She sleeps 9+ hours a night straight. I think I’m just blessed lol

With the contact naps ive found that as soon as you lsy them down they wake bsck up so when you lay them down if you can get in the bed with them whule laying them down and rhen peel toyrself off and run 🤣🤣🤣

It’s so good she falls asleep on her own and takes such long naps such as two hours!! I don’t know why you just don’t do your yoga stretches etc in that window instead of when she’s awake especially when whe obviously wants attention! (Btw I know this video is old but I have a nearly 4 month old and it’s not even close to that :D)

Congratulations! I had flashbacks to my second as our labours were so similar. My daughter was born 15 minutes after entering the birthing suite, I gave birth in the same position and she also came out unresponsive with two true knots i her cord which was wrapped twice around her neck. My goodness it is so scary until you hear their cries.

These are really great tips!!! It really annoys me when content creators make videos complaining about how badly their baby is sleeping and their lights on when trying to put baby down!! One thing I've done with my 2 is raise the top of the cot so they are sleeping on a slight slope, head higher than feet. It really helps with colicy babies! 13° is the recommended angle.

Then following idealistic tips like this won't make a difference. You need to help the baby learn to sleep independently, whatever way you feel comfortable with

A nighttime routine is a must. Babies love and thrive on routines. So nice warm bath, lotions fresh clean clothes warm babas, and a comfy rocking chair is a must for babies

Like Bob Ross says there are no mistakes, just happy accidents. When you throw away fruit that never made its way into a smoothie is the biggest mistake. I've never added water or milk into a smoothie, I like one cup of Greek yogurt and 2 or 3 of my favorite fruits often frozen like, berries, banana, cherries, pineapple, cantaloupe, Almonds, Chia seeds, you name it. Taste like a shake every morning for breakfast and usually 200 calories. I have a salad every day, I don't want greens in my smoothie. Protein powder is a joke, right? The whole theory of a smoothie is to use up those ripe fruits in a smoothie and eating healthy, so you have less fruit going to waste. Smoothies allow us to consume 3 times the fruit we would have consumed before we started eating them.

Isn't swaddling a safety thing? I've heard it's so they can't accidentally scratch themselves? ( I don't have kids so I'm just curious)
@kokteilisjuodas911 минут бұрын
Swaddling is to recreate the cosy feeling of a womb. You can just fold the sleeve mittens if you use sleepsuits. It's not safe when a baby starts showing signs of rolling, best to stop around 8 weeks.

When they start eating solids , a little oatmeal or rice pudding late night supper can help see them through the night! Obviously not to replace milk but a small amount in addition!

Be careful also with certain human food. Our dog got pancreatitis from eating left overs. No more dogs eating off my husbands plate. I eat clean so they can have most of what I eat except seasonings. Although I dont feed them when I’m eating.

Yes no bacon fat cause bacon fat comes from pork and you should not feed your dog pork.

Gosh, I just wish people would be more sensitive! Pregnancy is already such a vulnerable and fragile time, with all the hormonal changes and accepting the transition your body is going through - like it really doesn't matter what people's intentions are. Just be sensitive and be kind. Kindness costs nothing but it seems so expensive for some people. (Pregnant person in her feels over here, for sure! and feeling this so very deeply - esp with wanting loads of fast food in first trimester!! People feel so entitled to comment on your body. My body, my business! Gonna start drawing some tough red lines regarding this!!)

How are people leaving their children in wet nappies overnight? That just feels so wrong to me. Why would you do that to your child. That's disgusting. Its urine and it needs to be cleaned or they will get uncomfortable.
@kokteilisjuodas97 минут бұрын
21st century nappies whisk the moisture away. If you're intending to change your child's nappy after every single wee until they're potty trained, you might as well set the planet on fire.

Just here to say that little egg lamp was the absolute best purchase I made with my first baby. I used it so much for a few years til it finally gave out. It was especially useful for night time breastfeeding.
