Ok, biryani and pulao both are Persian dishes travelled in India with variations like dim sum or momo, biryani as rice with addings ( lamb, beef, pork) ( if the rice is fried for this then only biryani) whereas pulao was cooked with spices meats vegetables everything leftover in vegetables ( just like khichdi as staple) ( in this rice not fried) THIS IS FOR ONKAR TO SHUT HIM FOR ALL VEGETABLE BIRYANI EATERS
