Tbh I think homer is stupid mainly cause of flanderization. Memes aside, a lot more of those cartoons nowadays are "dumbed down" versions they use to be. The characters lose a lot of what makes them the og characters. Not saying that I want homer to go back to the *norm* of when he first appeared but I do believe he had a tiny bit more brains than now.
