#1... Trucker probably knew it was on fire and was keeping up speed and trying to get it out of town. Most truckers would risk their lives trying to do what they think will cause the least harm in that situation.

No, it's probably. If you know anything about trucking, you know they are taught to keep driving and find somewhere safe to get the fire put out. So, it was indeed probable. Possible, too. 😉

I drove long haul all over the US, and in my experience, I found the same thing; most truckers would risk their own lives before endangering others. That's not to say they are all heros, but they drive 80K Lbs projectiles with freight that could be lethal if it comes unsecured, so they need to be aware of the many ways they could cause harm to avoid it.

When you consider its just plastic and what they cost 40 years ago i just cant imagine paying that much for something that you then have to find a place to store it. I made thousands of things with legos and i have no interest in paying an inflated price for some blocky thing thats gonna require storage. The fact someone will pay $100 for a blocky structure when you can get a model kit cheaper that looks better is, and always will be, unbelievable to me.

Trash fires were a pretty common thing at a local opera house. People would tailgate with bougie canapes and wine but some treated it like an actual arena tailgate and not a preshow load up it was, so they had hot coals they had 'let cool' while they were at the show. Suffice to say it was enough of a common incident I recall two separate instances in one year (the year any cooked dishes not provided by the opera house were banned) where the trash truck got all of 20m out of the parking lot before the back end went up in flames.

That truck on fire... That's what can happen when you throw old lithium batteries in the trash. DO NOT throw lithium batteries in the trash nor the recycling bin. Find your local battery recuperation location. That stunt with the boat... EVEN if successful, it can lead to a fail in the form of a cracked, or split, hull. Roundabouts work well in smaller countries, like Taiwan. I live in NZ and roundabouts are quite common and welcome relief from traffic lights but a number of people are just clueless. Best thing about roundabouts is it makes everyone slow down and be more cautious. If drivers need traffic lights everywhere to function, they shouldn't be driving.

Repos have paperwork for cars, but are technically stealing the vehicles back. They dont legally own the cars when they are hooked up. Not only that, tow truck guy should be chsrged severly for the damage he caused to other vehicles, and driving like he did.
