We had brown book covers and they had to be on the books. Our book covers had a coupon for a free small ice cream cone at DQ. My brother and I stopped every day while walking home and would get our ice cream cone. We went to school in Snyder, TX so it was HOT and those cones were refreshing!!!! I just wish times today were as wonderful and simple as they were back then and beyond. It was truly the BEST TIME to grow up! I’ll stop now… I could go on and on!!!

@@dewey400 Right?!?! I raised my 5 children plus my husbands, 2 sisters, and a couple others and none ever brought text books home! I won’t get into my theory on public schooling other than to say, this generation has been FAILED! Homeschooling is the way to go if at all possible!

If you apply the stars or any small item to painter tape and tape them to your table, it will be much easier to paint and remove. Hope this helps and makes sense. We used brown grocery bags for our book covers.

I have used the aluminum sheets in a country primitive cabinet that I have. It has aluminum inserts with heart shapes punched through it. The hearts weren't my favorite. When I replaced the aluminum sheets I placed wooden bamboo boards with the wooden words. It looks nice but I am still not happy with it.😂

DIY paint sucks it comes off like a washable marker

I’m sorry you’ve had a bad experience. I’ve learned you really need to let it completely dry before trying to seal it. It IS water soluble, that’s why it needs to be sealed. Pros and cons to this. Fortunately there are plenty of options out there for everyone. 😀 Thank You for watching Amy! ❤️🤍💙
