As someone who has bought almost only cheap Amazon tires, my opinion is that they are great for trail driving but fall far short when things get technical. There have been a few that surprised me though.

I have a set of them , soak them in simple green for 2 or 3 minutes rinse them really good with cool water and change the foam's or cut them & they do pretty good , I've ran them on everything from a scx 10 to the wife's trailrunner and they do pretty good

I find the Amazon S dot HIT compound to work best when doused in gasoline and then set on fire. Dont take my word for it though.

I've had the Ottsix copies from Amazon that you tested that weren't actually too bad in the dry, they conformed very nicely too. Then I went for some 114mm block style tread ones from Injora and they were absolutely terrible even after cutting the blocks and siping. Bit of a lottery but unfortunately I think it's just a case of spend the money and get a genuine brand.. The wheels actually look pretty good though..

If you have a heavy rig, I find they grip rock very nicly. Mud and snow they work very well.

I have a set of Injora Hyrax. They are stiff but they work great for snowtires! Of course you don't get much snow where you live! LOL! I got them for $50 CDN for tires and beadlock aluminum wheels Tire is called Mud Grappler, so Exo drives it on the rocks instead. TRY THEM IN MUD/DIRT!!!

We have tried a lot of cheap tires from Amazon... No one works really well as Proline tires. One of the best cheap tires are Pitbull tires (not original, but with same name) as they become soft after many hours with TRX4 heavy trucks.

I've got a set similar to those. They looked the same as yours in the pics but in person the lugs were much tighter. They performed OK on the rocks but really struggled in the dirt. My cut canyon trails out perform these.

soak tires in bucket of wd 40 for a day it softens them up real quick or run no foams and the sidewall will still hold my heavy 8 pound truck up. thats what i do with all my amazon tires an they outperformed my gen 7 and stock 10ii tires

I think Optimus 3 is a little down on power. LOL. Maybe some old school Paragon tire compound would help them out some. Even if the tires are junk you get some nice rims and the tires are free.

Nice wheels but tires not so but try simple green or som type of degreaser I've found it sometime brings the cheap tires around but if not I end up bashing them keep up great work .

I cut them foams kinda cut a canal right down middles of the foams so the tires run soft, works for me.. The stock foams suck u gotta ether cut them or run pre cut foams they work tho

It's called dragin claw tires in China. Pepole usually put these tires on hard body jeep scale trucks. Chinese copy rockbeast, hyrax with soft compound sells at same price, they may perform better, you could give a shot.

I had the same issue with somd knock off hyrax.just to stiff of carcass to grip well.might work in deep mud should clear well.lol they are not sticky enough to hold on to the mud even.

I just got some in 1.9 from a seller on eBay. I'm not sure they are injora but still knock offs. They are honestly not bad with different foams and some weight. Look good on a scale rig for sure.

Ohh I forgot earlier to tell you the rc4wd trail busters are skinny like those injora I have the 1.9 on my trail finder and they are pretty soft and also can’t you soften those up with wd40

you need to castle link the bec to get it to HV and then you need to make sure the receiver is good for it as well.

My reciever is good to go see that the problem I have the castle link and iv switched it to 7.4v and it still dont work right... I put a brushed 1080 hobby wing on it and it run 7.4 all day with it switched on the program card... That's why I'm stumped...🤔🤔🤔

Kinda poor control standards to test by, you stated they were too stiff for the weight of the truck. You then proceed to bash the tires which are clearly a poor match for the truck. Some of these tires are crap, some of them are decent. This was more an example of how a mismatched setup causes poor performance than a tire test.

I do think I purchased a set very similar to those. Verrry disappointed . Look good , work like pooo. Remind me of toy grade rubber that lasts but don't grip.. buy name brand, and pay the extra money. I tried mine on a 6x6 1st. So it only gets worse from there.
