BBslider001 it's not that the trucks can't handle pulling it. Over loaded pickup can't handle it if things go wrong. I'm not hating so don't get me wrong I've just been in the business many years and have been behind the wheel of many overloaded trucks. It's all good until shit hits the fan.

Justin Myslive Actually if you consider a GMC topkick or a Chevrolet Kodiak a pick up. There was a option to get a Cat engine in them I believe it was a C7.

I towed a jd 6210r with duals weights and a loader 23k just the tractor so about 38k but it's so long you could see the trailer bow with the tractor on it. And 47k gross with alfalfa last summer. 2500 dodge with air bags. Can only run about 25 but cummins sure will pull it.

I pull a J. D. 650J with my 4500 2008 it's at 16,600 before I even hookup trailer. Runs down the road 70mph no problem.

The day you sell the truck you'll write the add up something like "Selling a 24V Dodge Ram with a 5.9 Cummins, Manual Transmission. Great Truck, Very dependable, Very strong drive line, Has a Gooseneck in the bed but have never towed a trailer in its life, the goosenecks never been used. Only drove the truck to church on Sundays and to transport my deceased Grandmother to the Funeral with a couple years back." When really it was used to haul a 20,000+ Bulldozer on a 7000 lbs trailer plus done God else knows what.

@@GLJ3838 In my personal opinion I think I got more for my old truck for being honest. Made a pros and cons section then a future concerns section as well. I had somewhere around 30 pictures of it as well I dident bother with the 4500obo I just said " I've typed up over 800 words explaining everything about this truck and if you dont think you can meet at my firm offer of 4500 I'll respect your decision." I still got the used car salesmen coming to look at it so I updated my post to say " If you are a car salesman a 30$ fee will be charged or taken out of your ass for wasting my time before I get in my truck and go home." I saved a few pictures of it on my old phone but it went completely out so unfortunately I cant share it.

truckguyjoe I believe that movie came out in 1996. This body style came out in 1994 but the movie was used as a marketing campaign as ram truck sales skyrocketed after the movie came out because everyone wanted a twister chaser

That's way too much load for a 3/4 ton... Your engine can handle it but your truck will handle very light. It's ok. I've done things that crazy before

The 2wd 12v sits to low to the ground and my dad has dented the oil pan driving through pastures. I bought this 24v for my dad because of the high ground clearance and the use of the low gears. There is something wrong with the 4wd. The 24v front end will vibrate going 60mph and in order to eliminate that I removed the front drive shaft.

it does not seem to be a cat d6...as it looks rather small compared with the man driving it... A cat d6 has an operational weight of about 18 tons..

@@clayprevatte7138 Absolutely Clay, all he did was look it up online and quoted the newer high track, hydraulics everywhere, larger engine D6. Otherwise, he does not know jack and has probably never driven or even sat on anything with separate steering clutches and brakes.
