I'm no "bleeding heart" type of person. I just wonder if you collect the carcasses or leave them, and if you leave them, does that bring in coyotes? I know feral hogs are a huge problem and it's too bad they outbreed any efforts to control them so far. The part that gets me is when misguided people try to purposely introduce them, thinking it will be a source of sport shooting/hunting.

These guys are doing everyone a big service. Feral pigs cause $2.5 billion in damages and lost crop yields every year. If nothing is done to keep their population in check (preferably albeit unlikely, total erradication), then everyone will end up paying for it at the grocery store. These things are worse than any invasive insect or weed. A colony of feral pigs can destroy an entire crop or eat every blade of grass in someone's yard in less than 24 hours.

I suspect some of the carcasses got picked up quickly to get butchered for a barbecue, some got taken to be butchered and frozen for later and others were tossed to be eaten by other predators. But those that got tossed, I imagine, got hauled away first to some wildlife area a bit away from the ranch to keep other predators distracted and not interested into stopping at the ranch to attack the farm animals.
