+David Williams You're right David. I've just bought one, CMT branded. Since I came to this vid to better know the how-to, I read your comment, googled the item of your description and I was amazed finding they are the very same toy °_° I had a CMT since I'm italian and the router is being sold by this company based in eastern Italy. It seems that CMT became a licensed dealer for Triton models. They would have merely change the sticker, I guess. By the way, what's your feedback on this stuff?

I'm much more confused over not being able to use the thing without getting myself into RED ALERT AREA. I simply can't get the collet all the way over the table top to use the crank as it is done in this video. I also can't get that same collet to stay still, but have to crawl under the table to press the tiny blocking button on the router itself, while fastening or loosening the collar " from upstairs" with the cranck that alomst can't reach down to the collet. Could any of You tell me, what I might have done wrong by installing the router in the table. It is the CMT "made in Italy" router CMT7 and original table with closet under. The set delivers nice routings, but I'm spending more time on switching bits than on routing - and that was not, what I wanted when buying. CMT is sold in Denmark, but Triton is too ;-)

It is the same the CMT is more expensive made in Italy the Triton is made in Malaysia or something.

All I need is the insert for my CMT router do you have reference number for this item ?

insert for what? for the router table, for...??? Explain better.

Yes the insert for the table, I want it insert the router into a workbench so I don’t need the table. Also need the guide rails to go with it. The router is a CMT 7E hope this helps

@@kevincarr3263 The insert plate pre-bored for the CMT7E is our sku 999.501.18. It is in phenolic material, size 375mm x 299mm thickness 12mm and includes 2 inserts rings with bores 103mm and 70mm
