240705 FP58950UE Rebuild Completion video on an MG Midget 1500 by JMAC Engine Shop

This completion video is for Jared, the owner of this engine. This engine was complete rebuilt and gone through. The crankshaft was turned and the block was bored to receive new flat top pistons. The head was shaved 2.989" to achieve higher compression. Larger intake valves, 1.438" were installed for better intake of fuel. I gave it a 270 duration cam. All these things should give this engine better performance. Compression numbers: #1 - 172 psi, #2 - 176 psi, #3 - 188 psi, and #4 - 175 psi. Oil pressure is 80 psi on cold start; after running at 3K rpm on a warm day, 35 psi.
