Where did you attach the chains to?

The studs for the exhaust manifold on one side and the runs of the upper intake manifold on the other side. Dudes have made mounting brackets in the past, which would bolt to the head but i didn't do that.

@@RoadWarrior72 thank you! I'll be pulling my KA out for a rebuild very soon. One more question, could you have left the exhaust manifold on and used that? Or is it too fragile.

@@enricogonzalez3191 it's cast iron so it should be fine. It was easier for me to remove the manifold from the engine due to sketchy exhaust flanges that I didn't want to mess with but you do what works best for you
