Thanks for the video exact some setup for the lights on my Nissan Laurel. I had one headlight that wouldn't turn on. Followed this guide and its all working. I used a small file to just scratch the connectors and clean them up.

@@francopreci5472 they will be in your engine bay relay box. It will say which one it is on the relay box lid schematic/sticker

When did it stop working? And where you doing any electrical work when this happened? If you turn the knob do you still get power to the lights? Meaning the lights still light up they just don't go down or is there no power at all going to the lights? Also just to be safe check if you didn't accidently hit the secondary switch that controls the motors for the headlights only. Please give me some info so I can help you out thanks

I already found the problem in the same switch there are some blue and brown cables Those wires are for the lights to go up and down I'm going to put a separate switch on the dashboard

@@morgan3072 glad you figured it out. but just out of curiosity the s13 model with flip up lights has to switches to control the pop up lights why not use the secondary one instead? that would save you time from having to add a third switch.

Thanks for the video I was able to fix my only one headlight on with high beams problem. I would suggest use a brass brush on a dremel. Is a little more delicate than steel on the contacts.....

What year make and model? I know we have a secondary switch to open the head lights and close them but if you do it by this method then you have no power to the actual lights until you flip the light switch on as well. With the light switch stalk as soon as you activate the lights it pops open the head lights as well being more convenient. If yours only open with the secondary switch maybe you need a new light switch stalk or check your fuses and relays to see whats going on. But if you all ready know all of this then you can ignore this message.

For anyone reading this in 2021, DON'T DO THIS FIX. It has a small chance of actually working due to some other issue that happens in some timer or whatever that's part of the internals you can't see. Buy a new headlight switch from amazon for like $40 and be done with it. Headlights fully work along with the motors now.
