26th Sunday of Ordinary Times - Cycle B. “The Precepts of the Lord” - Ps 19. USCCB allowed us to use lyrics from their ‘Revised Grail Psalms that is in our Lectionary 2020-CCBI, Music by Michael Peria and Musical Settings approved by - CCBI. This is a part of the Musical Scorebook, “Chanting the Responsorial Psalms-B78 (Psalmi Responsorii in Cantu B78) that will soon be published. This Responsorial Psalm is chanted and sung by the HAC and presented by the Hyderabad Archdiocesan Choir.
WHY THIS VIDEO:
This video posting aims at learning and chanting during our Liturgical Celebrations. Towards the end of this video, each part of the polyphonic is presented separately. Make use of Social Media to learn. We believe this will be a great help to the choir to learn and sing the chorus in polyphonic because “Singing in POLYPHONIC is really Catholic”- Pope Benedict.

This Responsorial Psalm is sung by the members of Hyderabad Archdiocesan choir. Cantor - Benjamin and Audio & video production is done by Clement and Benjamin at Hyderabad, India. Most of our psalm videos are produced online with singers from across various locations globally with guidance on how to record their parts that need to be sent to the production team.

B78 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time - Ps 19:8, 10, 12-14
The precepts of the Lord are right;
they gladden the heart.
The law of the LORD is perfect;
it revives the soul.
The decrees of the LORD are steadfast;
they give wisdom to the simple.
The fear of the LORD is pure,
abiding forever.
The judgements of the LORD are true;
they are, all of them, just.
So in them your servant finds instruction;
great reward is in their keeping.
But who can detect their own errors?
From hidden faults acquit me.
From presumption restrain your servant;
may it not rule me.
Then shall I be blameless,
clean from grave sin.
