Mesmerizing! So above soap level. Danny Miller is oscar worthy. Not only in this episode but in many others. This touched and affected me indredibly 5 years ago when it was broadcasted.

I have to add that this was an excellent episode after soo much of this story dragging for the past few weeks. The scenes between Aaron and Jackson on the lonely road were nothing short of amazing. Kudos to both Danny and Mark and their performances. It was nearly as good as what Aaron and Paddy had in the home. The closing scene of Jackson seeing the train approaching was absolutely terrifying. So much better than the crappy scene with Reid on STWT.

God so glad you upload these.... only watched this on TV a couple of hours ago but it was so dark and my TV is abit crappy that I couldnt really see everything that was going on..... now that I do all i can say is wow, my heart skipped a beat when Jackson turned at the end of that and saw the train coming. BRILLIANT acting from all 4 of the guys in this episode!!!!!!!

The talent on this show is oozing with greatness!. I myself am looking forward to how this all pans out. I fear that we will see Jackson in that hospital bed for sometime but really hope he comes out of it! I really dont want to see his character die as he is doing a fabulous job with it. The writers are to be commended on a fabulous job and really hope they all win something really special this time! MUCH DESERVED !

Another excellent acting jobs. It shows the two characters coming from two points of view. Aaron feels he has traveled miles but Jackson see only backward steps. Aaron finally opens up and lets it all out and turns out to be right as Jackson rejects him. Really gut wrenching. Disappointed that Jackson could not see Aaron finally let down all his barriers but it wasn't enough. The action scene looked great and kudos to the crew that filmed it. If this goes all As The World Turns, I will scream.

How can you not cry when the person you love tells you they've either never wanted to be who they are or they ]'ve wished they were dead? Aaron is being as open and honest as he knows how to be and its like watching him rip away painful layers of himself to do it. I believe in his way he does love Jackson, he just doen't know what feels like or what it means so he says he doesn't know if he loves him. Sad and actually brutally honest on Aaron's part.

@msteareader I have noticed in soap operas that it is always very intense and brings the couples even closer when they think think one or the other is going to die. It s so tragic. It happened to be the case with early dero episodes with roman being beaten up and later on when deniz was beaten up. They grew a lot closer and realized their deep love for each other. same thing with chrolli and oliver being beaten up and christian having heart trouble.

OK, why would people want to hurt Aaron just because he didn't say he loved Jackson! He did not cause Jackson's accident! It was a flipping accident! And Jackson did not understand what Aaron was trying to say! If he would have actually been listening to Aaron he would have understood that Aaron does love him, even if he is confused and not sure what love really means just yet! Aaron's 18 years old and he has never had people that have shown him what love really is for most of his life, so yeah he would be confused about his feelings and not know for sure if what he is feeling is love! Why is he bad because he wanted to be sure what he was feeling was love before he actually said the words! Aaron has never had a serious relationship before and he hasn't exactly been shown what love means for the better part of his life! I hate what happened to Jackson and it is very tragic, but Aaron did not run Jackson's van off the road and Aaron did not hit him with a train! It was an accident!

@JESSJUSTJESS ABSOLUTELY, I wasn't really yelling. But i did want him to RRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNN. The cinematography was amazing. But listen to the sound. It's only sounds of heavy breathing and heartbeats (including our own as the viewers). Even the rail sign beats to a heartbeat rhythm. The poignancy of the heartbeat sound is amazing. I think it's indicative that these two are meant to be together. It also heightens the drama.

Good story line. Beautifully acted by both Danny and Marc. Incredibly well shot, especially with the stop sequence with the train at the end. However, if they turn Jackson into a vegetable or kill him off, I will never watch Emmerdale again.

@Lillypadjosie i agree. from what aaron says i would reckon that he's confused by he's feelings, he opened up for the forst time ever about his feelings and jackson just walked away, because he was so upset by what he heard. straight away i felt aaron's true feelings show he was devastated at the thoughts of losing jackson.

Jackson didn't want to listen to what Aaron was saying, how do you expect someone who's had such a hard time opening up to do it automatically. It takes time. It doesn't mean Aaron didn't love him, he was just scared.

in a way i do feel like Jackson has let Aaron down. He didnt want to open up because he was afraid Jackson would leave, and that is exactly what Jackson did. On the other hand, I think even though Jackson asked for the truth, he is still allowed to be hurt by it. He is only human.

Aaron will never forgive himself... He's either going to say, "This is my fault because I told him how i felt and thus caused the universe to harm Jackson." OR "Jackson I do love you, but I can't be with you because I might hurt you with my black rain cloud." That is if Jackson makes it... :( I am reminded of a great manga, Kizuna, where the gay lover tells the man he loves (who was hit by a car) that even if he has to be his lover's legs, he'd climb a mountain, and do anything for him. :)

Im so glad I decided not to watch this while at work unlike all the other uploads. I would have been laughing and crying... not good when trying to talk to clients lol Im sad that the love story didnt bloom before the tragedy which will inevitably lead to Aaron professing his love. But I am really glad this storyline is happening. Danny is an awesome actor. Every emotion he conveys is totally believable. Not so convinced about Marc's acting distress lol... but Marc my favourite actor

@BoysLovingBoys It could go either way. Aaron could decide that this confirms his belief that anyone who connects with him gets hurt, and will pull away from EVERYONE in an attempt to protect them. Then again, given how Aaron and Jackson have been teetering on the brink of a knife, I tend to believe the writers will have Jackson in a coma to drag it out, but that Aaron will say he loves Jackson, and it brings him back.

The only thing that really bugs me about this episode why would Jackson now walk away after finally hearing the truth and finishing telling Aaron that he wont walk away if he is just honest. Seems to me Jackson could have given him a bit more time to come to terms with the feelings being he knows he at least cares for him in some maner... oh and I agree.. i think that pun a page or 2 ago was intended :P

@VoxNocturn We kinda agree - lol. When I say not a Gay storyline, I should clarify. Up to this point we've had a painful coming out. When we finally get them to a point that they are BF's, they are incident driven. Which is where I agree with you. The writers could have given them time to develop. Let Aaron come to grips with his "feelings stuff" (his words). But not, now that I might lose you - I love you. That is not a Gay storyline.

@MasterofLOLsha Luke and noah split bc of how noah treated him when he was blind. Luke fell in love with the doctor (Reid) that helped give noah his eye sight back. Noah wanted luke back. Luke said no. Noah was leaving oakdale. (At the same time) Luke and reid start falling even more in love, but reid ends up getting hit buy a train. Reid donates is heart to another doctor/patient. And dies. and it ends with noah leaving and luke being alone. The End. The same better not happen here.

@jsg03jd Ahhh But ATWT needed something big and memorable to go out on. The show was cancelled after almost 40 years. I actually think that they could have ended it on a more positive upbeat note. If they really wanted to be noted for a disaster, they could have just blown up the entire damned hospital in Oakdale, since it seems like everyone works there or the tv studio or the police station. A really deplorable ending to what used to be a great soap. So sad

@JESSJUSTJESS Hehe maybe. Sort of. But here in Canada, "trainwreck" is a phrase that is used for people who are just a bit emotionally unbalanced. Aaron put your hand up. I have to stop watching this. Aaron does really love Jackson (jackson you've got me 3x) he simply doesn't know how to express let alone say it. I love the end: silence then the rail sign clicking in unison with what is supposed to be a heartbeat and Jackson trapped in the van taking what could be his last breath. Dramatic
