YES. I am working on finding a mate to get some external B rolls to see the flames in action. Always a work in progress (sound and video wise), feel freeeee to comment and roast me and/or give me some feedback. I really want to try and translate the amount of fun I have while doing these runs into those videos.

Yeah, i hate when people drive like that, it's really not impressive. I prefer to stay right in the middle within the lines because it's quite a bit more of a challenge.

You have to work on smoothing your steering inputs, don't need to be that fast and "sharp" at all. Also, you should have your hands fixed on the right position on the wheel, not changing all the time. Its a car, not a boat, you don't need to gain leverage to steer it. Fun road 👍
@Fiestastix
@Fiestastix 10 ай бұрын
Appreciate the input ! Feels like it's that I "need" to be that "sharp" with my steering. I think it's a habit I've go from playing simulators for years. Interesting, I'll try to be a tad smoother to see what's up. Gotta say though, having a sharp steering style, get's me going for some reason, feels more intense. AND YES that road is fuuuuuun

@@Fiestastix I would just say maybe try to enter the corners wider and drive wide into corner, if you drive fiesta like this your puttin all stress on front tires as you said yourself, but if you go more round then youll have more fun and have fiesta slip rear tires a bit to move into corners which makes you able to go faster (if dont know where is the slip limit turn trackion off in parking lot and do few hard turns to make rear slip and try to correct it with steering wheel and bit of gas), if not sure if you can stand it start with trackion on (yes fiesta will let you slip a bit even with TC on), or just half off...thats how Iam now doing it and learning it :)

I hear what you're saying, but what should be known is the Fiesta's twitchy front end.. I'm MUCH smoother, input wise, in my ND Miata, than in my FiST, on the same roads with the same driver and similar tires (400+tw A/S tires).. I get A/S tires so I can have more low speed fun (yaw n slip angles)

Bruh what a fun boost toy! I really appreciate the constructive manner in which you handle yourself in the comments as well. The only fundamental issue that stood out to me is you're shifting when you're already in the corner. Practice heel-toe rev matching so you can downshift into the gear for the corner at a higher rpm earlier in the braking zone (try to have the drivetrain set up for the corner before turning in)--once you get this down you're going to feel like fuckin' Graham Hill. Don't worry about hand positioning so much (@mc1996 must've spent one day at Skip Barber), just always look ahead to the next corner and keep refining your style. You rock.
@Fiestastix

Thanks pal, I appreciate it a lot ! I know about heel-toe but my pedal config makes it near impossible to achieve. I know there are adapters out there, might give it a try. I agreed totally at first. But with certain key aesthetic mods, it changes the car completely. Currentely I have an aggressive kit of front spoiler, side skirts, and rear diffusor. Lendso DR1 rims in satin black, headlight eyebrows in matt black, darker rearlights (game changer with this color) and a rear spoiler riser kit. Now I actually love the look. Thanx bud, it's Stage2R with crackles/flames, in the video. Have to go decat for this tune though ! But worth it just for the decat sound along with a sports exhaust. After one year of abuse with this tune I didn't notice any issue. @@White_Fiesta_ST Same here where I live, trust me it's pretty strict. Basically stay away from making a mess in cities and when you get that mandatory tech control, put it all back in stock, obviously. Feels like having a Fiesta where I live cops don't seem to mind me, it's not a common tuned car over here. But it's part of the excitement. Though, keep some money stored tight if things go south. Getting the stock exhaust, downpipe and tune would do the trick. I've yet to know if they care about having an aftermarket intake and BOV though... also my rims are not certified, quick go to the shop and putting the stock rims and I should be good. It's coming soon for me so I'll see what's up

@@filmboy18 never heard that, maybe. But how come all the race builds have aftermarket bov then ? Must be a reason
@Kommentiert_
@Kommentiert_ 7 ай бұрын
@@Fiestastix The BOV is used to release the excessive pressure to protect the turbo. Basically, the whole system does not become more powerful, it becomes more durable. In some vehicles, you can also tell from the steering wheel that the engine does not tear so much at the engine mount. The car is somewhat smoother to drive, but you only notice this if you have an adjustable one and regularly drive the different modes. The size of the turbo also determines whether you notice the work of a BOV very much. To include the topic of performance: The difference is in the response behavior of the turbo. If the BOV is not working properly, the excess pressure slows down the compressor wheel. The turbo then has to work against it. The BOV therefore ensures that the engine reaches its peak power slightly faster. However, this would only make a difference in a 24-hour race at the very most. If you have tens of thousands of boost processes of this kind. Then, in a perfect world, the car would probably be 3 seconds faster. But human error and environmental influences such as headwinds are weighted more heavily. 😊
