On the final chord of the chorus, it really sounds to me like an A7sus barre chord (5th fret). Excellent lesson, though. Cheers!

Great lesson as usual. Thanks! Unrelated: would you consider a lesson on Young Man Blues from The Who Live at Leeds? There isn’t a good one on KZbin.

Wow. I always assumed the solo was backwards guitar (like Hendrix on Are You Experienced). Every day’s a school day!

Excellent lesson, nice attention to detail, which I always appreciate! One question: when Andy plays the solo, does Sting play the main riff behind him in E minor, or in A minor? Thanks! (Update: I decided not to be so lazy, and went and listened to the track; the solo is indeed over E minor, and they return to A minor for the last verse.)

Working on getting my Andy Summers sound.... flange/chorus on the cheap.... I have an early 80's deluxe mistress but it's broke... don't know where to get it fixed.... love your channel btw.

Thanks for watching... Andy's sound and tone was so influential - You can still hear it today.

If you still care to know, the inexpensive iSET Analog Flanger from Amazon is a great little box to get the Deluxe EM sound.
