Disagree. Go back to Jim Walden or Earle Bruce and you will see that the expectation for performance as steadily risen. Building a program isn’t a quick process, especially in an environment where programs with the most money have the easiest path. Iowa State has not arrived by the program is better today than 20 years ago. Matt’s risk-adverse nature (especially early in season) should be criticized, but he has elevated the program and it’s no longer a graveyard. Tell that to the 60k fans that attend regularly.
