TE is super important to Sarkisian at Texas, and I've no doubt we'll see Niblack be an important part of a subsequent game plan, but 2021 signee Gunnar Helm was arguably the player of the game w/ 7 catches for 97 yds, 4 first downs, and a td.

Helm was absolutely a monster against UM. They had no answer with LBS or DBS for him. I hate Niblack left Alabama but he was a good get for you guys as Bonds obviously was but you guys just haven't used Niblack like Bonds yet.

they survived the pac attempt to raid them. survived losing a few of their marquee members. picked up fantastic up in coming brands. its the third best in front of the acc imo. the acc has more notable brands at the top but id take the big 12 over the acc’s “rest of the bunch” any day. theyll likely pick up the scraps when the big 10 and sec raid them. theyre set for being around for a while longer

Oklahoma State not being in the top 25 is insane when OU almost lost to Houston, Kansas State squeaked out a win against Tulane , and all of the other really close games this past weekend. Its not that. Michigan is a 9-3 program that had a 12-0 group of guys. The truth is OSU rules the Big 10 but Michigan got a truly amazing group. They dont recruit like the big boys. They develop, win and reset

Academics, their nil structure, etc. ohio does amazing recruiting, tends to lean more on wrs and qbs. ohio doesn’t care about academics, mentality, or heart. This is why 〽️ had those last years. On paper they never should’ve won. This year the program will scrape by to be 8-4. We lost to much to compete with Oregon, ohio, USC, PSU. In the distant past it was different. We recruited great players and usually beat down ohio. Times come and go, that’s why I love CFB. I’m excited to see teams progress to the next level. GO BLUE! 〽️〽️〽️🏆🏆🏆🏆

Carolina will beat LSU by multiple scores. The story line in this win will be the Carolina secondary. When the final seconds tick off, the entire College Football world will be asking if Carolina has the best defense in the nation. LSU presents a real challenge. They have one of the best OLines. Versus Carolina’s top rated pass rush they will get some passes off but Carolina is going to feast on passes thrown under duress, hurried passes, poor timing, all effected by getting harassed continuously by this wrecking crew. Multiple turnovers by LSU seal the win for Carolina.

Not a Miami fan, but if you don’t believe in Miami at this point, then there’s no way you can believe in Penn State. Penn State has struggled to win a big game. They do seem to win all of the games they’re supposed to which is better than a lot of other highly ranked teams. They’re always ranked high I assume because they play in the Big Ten. That’s basically what Miami is going to be this year possibly no losses as well.

IMO FSU’s sucess it lack there of is directly related to the Qb play. Miami got ward and they are playing better FSU got a Qb who isn’t playing well. Idk what’s going on behind there scenes but it doesn’t seem like individuals. There are no reports of division/drama behind the scenes.

If Proctor and Pritchett play with Booker playing his natural position expect the offensive flow to look completely different from last week against USF. Bama was so sloppy with that hodge podge Offensive line. Thye need to clean up some things in general including turnovers and crucial penalties, but that O-line will make them look different imo.

Do we think the expanded playoff secretly helps teams like Utah and Iowa State, teams that don’t have litters of 1st round talent, but very good head coaches, and talent development. I’ve always felt these 2 teams always get better every week, but often they’ve dropped games early because they are teams that develop, and that knocks them out contention. But now you can afford to get better each week and maybe have a slip up early

Florida State is bleeding recruits for this year’s class. It’s not good and may only get worse. I’m a Miami fan, and I’m not happy with what’s happening in Tallahassee. Top tier Florida high school talent will be leaving the state in droves due to FSU’s current situation just as with Florida. In fact, Texas already has two verbal commitments from high school talent in Northern Florida. One of those kids was a FSU commitment.
